Same here, been mining 100000 coins just fine. Transferred them between 3 different wallets on different computers just fine as well.

Hoping Cryptsy puts the trading back.

-1 They have a trading monopoly with too many alts. We must stop feeding them.

I guess you weren't one of the many who watched their deposits lose over 50% while cryptsy was having 'technical difficulties' last week. Combined with autosellSCAM, this gave the insiders plenty of time to pull their buy walls and feast on the cheap STR.

I had 29k starcoins sent to Cryptsy that got stuck, I emailed support about it. They asked me to check my wallet RPC to debug, etc, etc and after about a day I had the funds in my account and was able to withdraw it back to my own wallet just fine.

As for the autosell problem, I have no clue since I never use that option.

Up to and/or around the time STR bottomed out, autosell was set to dump the deposits into the buy orders. It has apparently  been switched to the sell order side where the price can be just as easily manipulated.

Cryptsy comment for STR removal on 09/25/13

I just mined a superblock with 685 coins. So everything works fine since.

this is what I replied to BitJohn there (note: I am not the dev, just an active miner of STR):

Quote
I see all the self-forking fixes from CAP are in Starcoin's latest 1.5 code. It was committed in github and released as version 1.5 10 days ago.

https://github.com/starcoinproject/starcoin/commit/a0ccb99023d326d79a928af940b58c4ce0800e8a

Can you be specific what fix is not in?

Also the dev of the STR seems unaware of any issues. Cryptsy disabled the trading without communicating to the dev for issues, is it an oversight?

Finally the pool is back up on the new servers, and going well for now synced on main chain and paired with block explorer.
You are all welcome back at str.minar.cc Grin

Minar.cc pools are not running anymore, the domain was registered by someone else and I don't have any relationship with the new owner.

After the blockchain was downloaded and backup applied the wallet showed all coins mined up to 09/28/13 19:00pm. Everything mined after that date/time was lost.

I am mining since then on str.minar.cc and it seems to work fine. Does anyone have an update from Cryptsy?

Just wanted to let you guys know we're accepting StarCoin!

For the first time ever a website has been created that makes buying collectible reserve notes with Bitcoin and all major altcoins fun and easy. And with our fast delivery time you’ll get your notes within 3 to 4 business days. Our notes are great for collecting, spending, or trading with friends!

http://www.coinbucks.net

Our uncirculated notes are great for converting your hashpower into “real world” items like fuel or food. During our beta phase we will be focusing on small denominations and limiting daily orders. This will give us a chance to adjust margins, fine-tune the payment system, and streamline our shipping process. Then as we grow we will increase these limits and begin adding more rare and valuable paper currency.

Great news! This makes Starcoin stronger !

Minar.cc pools are not running anymore, the domain was registered by someone else and I don't have any relationship with the new owner.
