We all know that fast food is addictive even though we know that it may potentially harm our body. Most of us just don't care about its negative impact on our health, all we care about is eating what is delicious that's why there are many people who are obese and is struggling with their health conditions. There are two potential threats to a person eating fast food every single day, and that is Diabetes and Heart disease. In the US according to Mary Kekatos from Dailymail, half of all deaths due to heart disease and diabetes are caused by a poor diet, which consists of heavy intake of sodium and unprocessed meats.

Why do You think people still eat these foods everyday? What can You suggest them to do to quit this addiction to fast food? Are You one of those people who are always eating fast food?

Since a long time ago people are saying this kind of stuff and people still eat at Fast Foods and they are a success on the world. There isn't any problem by eating at Fast Foods since you have a balanced life. If you eat only at Fast Foods everyday you will surely have health issues, the same will happen if people eat only "grass" everyday and those hipster fashion vegetarian/vegan diets.

Interesting people don't talk about the another side of the story. Anorexic people that eat only grass and smoke "grass" saying it's healthy and from times to times are at the hospital taking medicine and treatment because the fragile health conditions.  Cheesy

The important is the equilibrium.

EVERY single bit of food we eat today is contaminated or poisonous in one way or another... think of OGM, E-stuff, pesticides, acid rain, etc.

So, although looking after one's shape and health is very important, I don't follow any of this psychosis about food A or food B being toxic and ready to kill me if I eat it.

I just try, to the best of my ability, to eat as healthy as I can.

These days many of us rely on what so called fast food , from the word fast means quickly and food means what we eat or our meal , and fast foods means quickly process food. That sometimes raw cooked , not well done and causing or resulting to a different sickness , or resulting to many diseases , these days many people rely on it because it somehow delicious , yet unhealthy people don't care about what they eat. And yes it can , it can potentially kills us , causing different diseases as I say , I suggest to all not just me but to all of us , as in all of us to become more careful , be aware on what we eat.

I love fast food, but I use it only as a treat. I even prefer it more than classy posh restaurants, just love the taste of the food, even if I know it is not healthy, but if you eat it from time to time it is no problem.

Yup I pretty much ROFLed at potentially it was quite the laugher. I mean that is common sense is it not? I never eat fast food and every time I do I feel so crappy afterwards now I literally avoid it like the plague. Change your taste buds and your diet will follow.

I think that the damage to fast food is exaggerated. Of course, you can not eat only them, but if 2-3 times a week to visit McDonald's, then it will not cause any harm to health.

Absolutely! Fast food is slowly killing people especially the kids who usually gets childhood obesity by eating a not so healthy ingredients found in burgers, nuggets, french fries, sodas and even breakfast sandwiches. We must avoid fast food if we want to live a little bit long.

That is right. It is very addictive because the tastes are really good (no doubt), aside from that people are now lazy that is why they prefer to buy at fast food since it is ready to eat at all at an affordable price. People knew about this, people knew that these foods contain many preservatives yet we still eat. It is because most of us do not care about our health.

Fast food can harm our bodies and we don’t know what are the ingredients are in there. If it can cause cancer, diabetes and other diseases that are deadly. I think, people who are working are eat more on fastfood chains. Its quick and convenient for them to eat there. But its very harmful if you eat there everyday. What i suggest is they should have meal plans. Prepare them for a week and they are ready to eat.

I think that's true. society develops and people work more. They do not have time to buy food for cooking. Fast food is the best choice. But it is not good for your health. It is not nutritious and has many harmful substances. It will eventually kill you.

leaving fast food in total may have difficulty,but at least reduce is the best way to do.Some of them by adding fruits and vegetables so that fiber needs can be met,reduce the portion of fast food and reduce fried foods,replace carbonated beverages with fruit juice,milk or mineral water.Obviously,anything that is consumed in excess will be less good for health.As well as fast food,during normal limits,health risks can still be tolerated,but if you have a bad health condition,maybe avoid fast food.

Saturated fats commonly found in fast food can increase bad cholesterol (LDL) and lower good cholesterol (HDL). Combined with excessive salt intake can increase blood pressure and enlarge the heart muscle. As we know, high cholesterol and high blood pressure are the main causes of heart disease and stroke.

I have been taking fast food for the last 20 years and I can vouch that my health is perfectly fine. And as we are discussing about it, around 2 billion people around the world are taking fast food on a regular basis. If fast food was that bad, then these people would have been dead long back. So my advice is rather than whining about it, just enjoy your piece of fast food.

many health researchers and food researchers have been telling negative thing about the fast food, and it is true that consuming fast food too often can harm our health.
I myself always remind my family not too often consume fast food and get used to cooking their own food .

Everything that is too much is bad. It's the same with fast food, you eat too much, then you'll get all those sodium and sugar.

But if you are eating it just once in a while then I  don't think that you'll have a problem. Most of us eat fast food not because we are addicted but because we can afford it. If taxes will at those products is higher, I don't think that everyone will be buying it.
