Last block #80999 before fork will be mined after ~(80999-76994)*70/60/60/24 = 3.24 days from now. It can't be friday.. (oops Friday) Thirthday is today for <gmt-2 and soon for est. For 24..36 hours it's impossible to find 4000 blocks. It will be sunday or monday.

Friday at noon central time was the goal (it's 11:15 PM Wednesday night here now), but it looks like it will be Saturday or Sunday. We set those numbers about a week ago, so Friday was our best guess at the time. Not to mention, orginally we had to use timestamps for one switch and nHeight for the other, which we later found a way around to make all the changes go live with Block 81000

Fair enough iGotSpots, you have done everything that you said you would do. Good work. You've given SPOTs a chance, now the market has to decide. The block explorer is broken by the way. I assume that is why coinmarketcap doesn't have SPOTs listed.

Pool sptpool.digsys.bg and the permanent node at 193.68.21.38 have been updated to the new wallet (the source code version is 1.1.0).
iGotSpots the patch I sent you to fix the networking initialisation is missing from the source you published. When the code is on github we can fix it easily.

Yea, I know. We have like 20 VPS for all the daemons on the sites we run right now, working on new contracts to help with consolidating everything into one data center. Should be happening pretty soon. In the meantime, Jude's P2Pool crawler works to track transactions, we just need to get the ABE back up for coinmarketcap so Gliss can pull the current moneysupply to calculate cap

For those of you holding a lot of these, it's a very easy market to push higher due to the tiny TINY order sizes and most people hoarding these like crazy and not selling even when it was near a million market cap. Just keep moving your big buy orders higher on the list (keep them off number 1 if you don't want it filled). People like to pile on in front on of big buy orders. Very easy way to make your Spots worth more tomorrow than they are today
Although I kinda hope it crashes before the fork so I can scoop a bunch more up before the inevitable price rally once superblocks are gone

There is still very high fluctuation of difficulty in the network. Perhaps it was good idea to use the hard fork to fix it somehow..

We did. The hard fork doesn't kick in until block 81000. All the fixes that are live right now were network or stability issues. No coin specs change until we hit that block We had to give people at least a few days to update instead of getting stuck on a bad fork

we still have another 3800+ blocks. It will be another 2 weeks before the hard fork kicks in 70 seconds, so 4433 minutes, or around Sunday. I'm going to keep everything saying Friday, though, to encourage people to update right away and not put it off

RE: Spots pool http://spots.cryptcoins.net/THANK YOU to Markus for his SWIFT response and consideration to lower fees and fix the VAR DIFF It is very heartwarming to see such attention..and so quickly... as so many pools suffer from neglect I am sure Markus is like all of us very busy with life.. It is further a great relief that I can mine at his other pools now with renewed confidence.. I wish to reward such valuable attention to service with miner loyalty I am also confident such well managed pools are far more profitable in the long run. I have had a very good experience with this Spots pool otherwise and recommend it highly It remains my pool of choice for SPOTS and I hope to continue there after the fork I am PhiloSpots RE: Fork .......encourage people to update right away and not put it off very well.. I will do so... I imagine I will need save my wallet.dat then delete all files from old Client/QT...run new client and let it sync...then close it and paste wallet.dat into new client.. And then Encrypt and back-up new wallet..(Windows user) I am still hoping to catch one of those superblocks before the deadline of fork..Or is it too late?...will new wallet/client remove any chance of a superblock before the fork?

You don't need to move or delete anything. Just open new client and it'll use your current wallet You can get super blocks until block 81000 regardless of which wallet you use. The code for that is on the network not the wallet
