this is what I dont get. If someone is selling for 0.5 and there is a buy order für 0.7 coming in, the system should sell it to him for 0.5 and if there is rest, back in sell order.
Other way around, if there is a buy order for 3.0, the system should buy instant the open 0.5 order and so mix the price until 3.0......

thats how I should program it, but what do I know..

No exchange software workes that way.
Let's consider the sell order (all 10 qrk):
A 0.3
B 0.31
C 0.32

And the buy orders:
M 0.29
N 0.28
O 0.27

Then, at the same time, there comes X with a buy order with 0.7 and Y with a sell order with 0.5. What will happen?
X will get his 10 qrk for 0.3 from A.
Y can't sell.

New order:
sell: 
B 0.31
C 0.32
Y 0.5

And the buy orders:
M 0.29
N 0.28
O 0.27



But what is, when the price is rising fast and you want to buy? If you want to buy from B for 0.31, and someone just bought in front of you, you only get a buy order. -> fucked up. So just to be sure, you could make a buy order with 0.5. So you get your 10 qrk for sure.
-> Same is with btc-e, and they have no lag! But they serving much faster, so there will never appear a buy order in the order book, which is higher than a sell order.

The trade engine does not work coninuously it is working by batch
People are abusing this to mislead users, sometimes also just putting very high order
just to make sure that a couple of sellers will put too high price getting their sell order pushed back in the order book.
Someone is just pushing quickly the price up today, probably to dump

How can you state the value of a Cryptocoin based on one website? Especially if some of them are traded on one exchange with such little volumes. If there would be only one exchange for Quark right now and 1 guy would buy in with 100 quark at 0.01 BTC, Quark Market cap would go to BILLIONS on the coinmarket cap. If the few Crypto exchanges that only trade coins and not flat currency shut down tomorrow, Quark is worth 0...because nobody uses it as for now. Stick to BTC and LTC for now, 90% of other altcoins will probaly die. Just buy them to trade them, make profit and then get yourself more BTC and LTC as fast as you can.

How is it this coin has been around this long without a working miner for linux? I can't get any version of a quark miner to compile on my linux box. something about line 8 in autogen pointing at a nonexistent file.

My buy order went unfulfilled by Cryptsy for nearly 3 hours so I cancelled that, transfered to Bter.com and bought Quark there very quickly.

YES same here my buy orders were ignored and now it has gone up 25-30% more , cryptsy will never handle big  volume markets, their script is obviously unable to cope.  I hear whispers of a QRK/BTC exchange coming anyway. It's past time we had a decent place to trade QRK. This is more than likely why people are putting in values above the market rate, because by the time their order actions the market rate that existed when they wanted to buy has shot past and you will not get any coins. You need to put a  bit higher than the market rate to even get a chance at your order being executed.

You have to realize, with Quark being almost all mined up with a little bit of inflation every year. It is the perfect Crypto to actually be used as currency right now, Bitcoin is more like Gold
