Guys

Today few of qrk.coinmine.pl miners found an exploit to cash out more coins that they actually mined and hot wallet was completely dry out. This exploit was possible because of site upgrade I was doing and its not related to pool software.

I know this was kind of my fault but I am kindly asking honest users to give back Quarks to this address: QY9f1fRFMv3xJha9XH637k2Yey1WSkvGBA

Will appreciate your cooperation.

feeleep

How much did they get? If a lot those people cashing out would explain the drop in price earlier.
2 millions coins dumped last hours... don't think that single pool could give this amount Smiley

Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

No but it could definitely start a panic sell depending on how many it was holding.

All cryptos are down; quarks is one of the least to be hit.

Ive asked this a million time and here we go again:

1) Is there a way to calculate how many QRK per day can you mine at a certain ratio? Because Quark isn't listed in cryptowarz which is what i use. Why is the coin not listed there?

2) What program do I use to mine on Win 32bit?

3) What are the chances of stumbling upon a block if im solo mining with a Q6600??

Anyone has a working pool? Everything appears to be down.. (At the same time  Huh)

my pool is working (http://qrk.coinmine.pl) - i am just doing some maintenance on webpage

minerd -a quark -o stratum+tcp://src.coinmine.pl:6020 -u worker_name.1 -p password

dont work

wrong help page - try to refresh getting started again and you should see:

minerd -a quark -o stratum+tcp://qrk.coinmine.pl:6010 -u worker_name.1 -p password

Okay it worked, but I would like to know how to solo mine, and what are the chances of finding a block myself with a Q6600 processor??

PS: Im seeing it's finding new blocks and stuff on the CMD window, but on the webpage (qrk.coinmine.pl) everything is set to 0 like I haven't mined anything. How long does it take to refresh? it says hashrate is 0 on the webpage

At 20kh/s it is possible that you are not finding a share before the next block is found.

hi - people are mining with hundreds of processors and basically your processor is not able to send a share and new block is found...

2 millions coins dumped last hours... don't think that single pool could give this amount Smiley

Good.

Let those Quarkcoins leave the weak hands and come over to our strong hands.

Don't get discouraged people. It is clear there are some early adopters with millions of QRK, who
are only looking for fast cash NOW.

Hope the new guys who bought those QRKs will be patient.

Patience is key. QRK is promising.

I started the client yesterday with the mining option. It showed that i actually mined 2096 coins but the wallet was not synced. I switched the wallet off accidentally and when i switched it back on there was no info saying anything about mined coins and the wallet shows 0. I thought that maybe it has to get synced but now it is synced and the account is still 0. Is it possible that i actually mined something and the coins are lost?

How the hell were you able to mine so many coins in this short time???

Well, if your wallet was not completely synced , you did in fact "time travel" and mined as if you were in july 2013 or something...

That shouldn't have happend.

When your wallet eventually synchronized with the network your wallet showed 0, which is correct, because those 2096 are invalid.

You should only wallet-mine after your wallet is fully synced.
