Quark will be worth nothing. its waning and dying as we speak.

This is the guy who made a top 50 scam coins list and put Quark as number one.

And there was no NXT in the list.

Can anybody answer me how much kh/s i should have with intel core i7 4930?
I use minerd_w64_sse4 on windows 8.1 and get only 48kh/s per threat means only ~600kh/s  for 12/12 threats, i feel it's a bit low.

I did a little bit of research. You could email driessen@outlook.com which is the email adress on the whois for the website.
Seems like the person behind this also owns or works for a company called advertouch. I got this through googling the phone number. They also do webdesign. So I'm afraid maybe it's just a sleek looking website and not much else.

We are about 8766 blocks and counting from the next halving!
Approximately 73 Hours before the block reward reduces to 2 Quarks.

I think you should be getting a lot higher than that - I've got an i7 2600K and I get over 800kh/s for 8/8 threads (-a quark), and your processor is a lot newer than mine.

It might be worth giving the miners here a go: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=353448.0

Aloha!

Is it possible mining quark with minerd on 6/8 cores on my gpu mining rig at the same time i´m mining doge e.g with my gpus?
or will it reduce my overall hashrate  ?

I´ve read that it is important to let 1 core idle for cgminer. is that enough ? oder should I let more cores idled?

thank you for your help

Yes it is. I use the CPU-Limit command on linux as a way of giving Quark a percentage of my 8 cores (AMD FX 8350). I've given QRK 50% of the CPU and DOGE 50%. But, it seemed
I only need to run the command for one of them and the other, of course, took the remaining (equal) amount. There is also a command to give the miner so many cores. I know
I've ran that as well when starting DOGE, just as an experiment. You will have to look that up.

As far as giving CGMINER a core, I haven't, and everything is fine. Right now I'm running my 8 cores full on QRK. I needed an aftermarket CPU cooler though (True Spirit 120M) to cool it 20 degrees! (Just air)

Do you remember how BTC spiked around the time of cutting the reward in half? I was just wondering the same after reading that we are getting the reward cut in half as well in a few days.
So, that means fewer coins to mine. You will have to buy.

The next few weeks will be interesting. Will the QRK network's Hashrate continue going down or will it stabilize due to a price rise? A few factors...

On twitter @pumpNdumpteam is giving it a buy:

Something happening?

I'm buying a bit, just in case.

WOW, 64 cores! That is going to cost A LOT of money. Not viable for QRK till it is at a buck or so.  Grin
Any ideas on what a small micro server would cost? My guess $2000 vs $400 for a top of the line 8 core atom (which I heard only does about 100kh/s total)

Hi,
just wanted to present my little site here:

http://quark.host-ed.me/

I was sick of clicking and searching through endless sites just to find a link or small info about Quark. So I started gathering all the links and put it in one place.

It was meant for personal use, but I guess it could not hurt to share the infos Smiley

Any feedback is welcome!

If you know of any useful resource, that should be listed, just drop me a note.

Donations are welcome but not necessary.

Thanks!

Good Luck! Smiley
