You're totally right project feels useless, it's going to head even lower than 500 soon.
I think it's just worth the wait. Not all projects immediately have great popularity

With the market in bear mode, there is nothing else to do at the moment. Just hope to see some solid development and addition to the project from now to the end of the year. Hopefully the market will be in better condition by the end of the year, begin of the next.

projects-coins, who have a strong technical side is not slipping into the abyss

it is even better for the prokect that they wait some time with bringing great news and developing , the market would not recognize good technical developing , for now it looks better to come up with that when market is in bullrun again

After Sirius get in one exchange I believe it will boost the popularity more.

What do you mean? It is already on Cryptopia:

https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Exchange/?market=SIRX_BTC

0 BTC trading volume in the last 24 hours, less than half launch price, last activity in Github 18 days ago:

https://github.com/siriuscore/sirius

and this was only changing 6 lines of code to add some addresses. Previous commit was 6 months ago.

The project is dead. They got their BTC for listing it on Cryptopia, keeping the rest, then dumping most of their coins, and now they are laughing their ass off when someone here writes that they will still do something, while chilling at a south sea beach.

its a shame this project couldn't go any further as anticipated by many supporters myself inclusive, and to think that i was looking forward to the second airdrop now that an exchange as finally been announced after months of waiting, suddenly it seems nobody is ready to put money in the project, cant afford to lose at this very bearish period,
dev also don't have matters by given too many gap to bring out update and communicate with community, or they suddenly develop cold feet..

The developer of Zacanbot was making new sirius updates.  GitHub.  "update to include latest qtum additions", the guys are working, cool, and thank you.
Sirius much of the hype will not do everything steadily.  I think you guys better get your supplies back.  And stop shuffling asshole conversations that there was a dump, a deception .., stupid.

You and so was free distributed sirx, -and the rest of the observation and expectation.
 sirx will be huge.

looks like somebody didn't read the white paper  Roll Eyes

Where is the white paper? On the homepage https://getsirius.io I can only find the position paper. And on the github repository they didn't even bother to change the documentation from the original Bitcoin client, from which qtum was initially cloned:

https://github.com/siriuscore/sirius/tree/master/doc

And looks like it is not only my opinion, price drops like a stone. Probably the devs are dumping it, too.

The price is dropping like every other coin, because btc price is dropping. About the changes on github and more information about the project you are right and we are all waiting to hear what comes next.

that's usually what happens when bitcoins go down, but not to worry SIRX has a good belief in the community. this is precisely the time for me to have the coin.
The timing is bit perfect to buy sirx when the price goes down, dont need buy a lot. I was try buy sirx on under 500sat/sirx but until now no one sell them  Grin, still waiting the good moment to waiting for someone who is doing instant sell (hope the luck come).

Good opportunity to use the dollar cost averaging approach. Wouldn't buy all at once if it's going down as it could also go further down of course.

What is the dollar cost averaging approach? Is that a strategy to reduce risk?

You are less prone to extreme market timing situations. You take a fixed amount of money and invest on a regular basis rather than using it all at once whereas being dependent on luck that you found a good time to enter.

That sounds like a solid strategy. That's similar to people who set aside a portion of their paycheck to buy crypto every week.

It is exactly the same to be precise Wink regular payment into a certain asset leads to an average price that takes away a lot of risk compared to the one-time all-in strategy.

But is that worth it? I mean how many BTC would they have had left? If they went this far might as well continue working on the project since that could be more profitable.

Also if that was really the plan, then it would make more sense for them to have appeared more often on this thread to continue pumping the price. Instead they've been pretty quiet since January really. Scammers would had been more during those times.

I think it is a little bit unjust criticizing it has no trading volume

Currently, all markets are drying and everything is getting dumped. Also, sirius is something distributed for free and we can expect lots of dumpers. However, i hate their inactivity on this thread.

But someone want to bye a cheap SIRX for 5 BTC, you may see the wall. It will be hype about SIRX in the near future.

you conveniently missed the loads of library and api code that has been added in the last few days:

https://github.com/siriuscore/   Wink

This is a 100% copy of the bitcoin source code, just replacing the name. 2 minutes work with a global string replacement in the code.

Original repository:

https://github.com/bitpay/bitcoind-rpc

Sirius repository:

https://github.com/siriuscore/siriusd-rpc

The only thing they REMOVED is the copyright line "Copyright 2013-2014 BitPay, Inc." at the bottom, which is even illegal.

So you are right, they did do at least "something", it is not completely dead, still twitching a bit.

the merge between ethereum smart contract and bitcoin source code , if they really "Sirius" working on this project something good maybe can fruit out of this project but seems like the "Founder" doesnt care much about this. so why would we, right?

I doubt the $1 million figure. The Ardor community has collected $100.000 in order to buy enough BNB tokens to get Ardor listed.
Plus, think of the terrible incentive structure. Developers who have to shell out a million bucks would probably want to get even quite soon so that they may feel the need to dump on the other holders shortly after the listing. Not saying this is true for Sirius but in general.

pretty unlikely since bitcoin has no rpc commands related to smart contracts, while sirius does.

SportsPodium is a transparent, blockchain-based sports community that will enable a new economy by unlocking undervalued and un-monetized aspects in sports utilising the power of blockchain technology.
With our unique reputation algorithms, SportsPodium is creating the world’s largest, completely transparent, sports information database. It will make fairness, merit and equal opportunity the benchmark for competition as well as reward and will create an open and engaging platform for sports lovers all over the globe to share in the excitement of sports and fitness.
Sports participants will be rewarded with PODs for their data that they contribute to the blockchain. The blockchain will benefit from this data by providing data centric services such as targeted advertising and talent identification.
SportsPodium has an inclusive model and we partner with existing sports application providers.  We provide these providers with the value of rewarding their user bases with POD tokens in return for access to their sports data and information. We are also partnering with various sports equipment providers and online shops that will accept PODs as payment for their goods and services.
Late last year we announced the SportsPodium project with our POD token. But in order to place ourselves in a more prepared position - and protect our investors, we decided to forego our ICO at that time and raised only enough start up cash to build our team and initial tools and to prove our SportsPodium concept in the real world for our first sport: Golf.

Looks like they have Bryan Habana the rugby star as their ambassador: https://www.facebook.com/SportsPodiumApp/videos/1177923362349213/

Finally, at least one good news!
Well, let's hope it gives Sirius the impulse to rise from the grave.

On GitHub SportsPodium team activity is about the same as in Sirius...
