Is ethereum going to be next bitcoin?
all possibilities can happen and no one can predict it if indeed ETH can replace the other crypto currencies I think that does not rule out the possibility that investors will take advantage of every opportunity that will be obtained in investing functionally I think ethereum has a better function than crypto assets other than bitcoin. but now there are more projects with their own crypto, which makes them have the benefits of using their products. |

Ethereum is already one of its own kind ,it started a new innovation that block chain implementation is not only for payment for other utilities as well so it's is second to Bitcoin in adoption and popularity.we can see a good ride in price after new protocol is implemented this year.

we all don't know whether bitcoin will be replaced by another coin or not. but I personally believe that other coins will not be able to replace Bitcoin. because until now bitcoin is still leading the market. |

If everything gets tokenised in crypto and they decide to use ethereum as the platform then it may well be the next bitcoin. In fact, it will be bigger than bitcoin and ripple put together - if they sort out their scalability issues

Ethereum is the most popular platform for ICOs and dapps so far although there are plenty of competition out there who will grab growing portion of market share from Ethereum over time. Ethereum will never be a replacement of bitcoin which represents the best store of value as digital gold. It is possible that some other competing platform becomes more popular than Ethereum in future.

I hope that ethereum-based tokens are tightened so that it is not easy to use to create scam projects, as we know that the biggest factor that makes market red is the fear of investors being hit by scam projects.

eth already have a tight security but that does not mean that the tokens issued under it are already safe . scams cant be avoided because they are part of the game . fear isnt also the biggest factor on why the market goes in red but actually whale manipulation is the real root cause of it because they are more powerful than a regular investors . next might be fuds , news , and speculations . but dont worry bro , eth will be fine because eth is too useful to be ignored and forgotten by the public . i sense a good future waiting for etherium . |

Future of ethereum cannot be measured by any speculative ideas which cannot give up proper views for out holdings. It should be a certain market movement which could probably provide our asset to gain sustainable returns. Although now ethereum has experienced a very deep decline from the highest prices achieved but now people still believe in ethereum as an investment that is also good and has a high potential to rise later

After more than a year of this post maybe you have got the answer though? Ethereum will never get to be a next bitcoin,look at the positioning in market now?ethereum can’t even took the number 2 spot from Ripple(XRP) so what more the number 1 position from bitcoin? Ethereum and bitcoin is two different currencies and cannot be comparable,please put that on mind and to all ethereum fanatics here |

I think Ethereum can replace Bitcoin in the future because we will not know what will happen in the future and everything can happen. Now Ethereum has enormous support and this coin is very popular, especially Ethereum is widely used for the ICO platform.
i dont think ethereum can replace bitcoin in near future. maybe after 10 years and if ethereum team work lots, maybe ethereum can pass btc. but until th,s maybe a coin with a good chain can pass wto of them |
