Ethereum will overtake Bitcoin

My opinion is that ethereum will never outgrow the BTC because it is the pioneer, the basis of everything in this world of crypto-coins.

Yeah I am thinking the same and thats because Eltherium is being used by ICO more than Bitcoin and they are dumping later on for marketing purposes and thats why BTC will be king all the time atleast in near future

Yes, there are so many people who are involved in the bounty but are also looking and waiting for a signature campaign. I do not believe that the bitcoin can transcend another cryptocurrency, since no bitcoin has gone through. Yes, we know the charts showing the signals whether the bitcoin is ahead or not, but not enough to see this because we have no strong evidence to say that the bitcoin is preceded.

I believe Bitcoin will stay the same N1 in crypto.Etherium has a few strong competitors such as Neo,Eos and in the near future-Tezos,so I expect a great battle among all of them in 2018-19.The winner will take the most part of ICO market.

I think you are absolutely right. First the demand for Bitcoin will increase and so is the price and second Ethereum has very strong competition - NEO.

Bitcoin is like cryptogold. Ethereum can be treated like cryptodollar if it dominates the market in future. I don't think cryptogold will cost less than 1 cryptodollar

In the next year ETH will overtake BTC as the number 1 cryptocurrency.  I would unload your bitcoin while you still can.

Even though I personally like Ethereum and even if it has lots of potential, I still don't see ETH surpassing Bitcoin. If that would happen in the far future, I cannot think of an exact time because that was close to impossible. Both are continously improving their network, fees, transactions, etc. Just because Bitcoin is the pioneer it doesn't mean that I'm closing the chances for ETH, but I wouldn't encourage everyone to unload their BTC's not now..... not even next year. It would take quite a long time before that (or those chances to or) would happen  .

for now Ethereum overtake Bitcoin is very difficult, because the price of Bitcoin has now increased considerably from Ethereum, so to make Ethereum overtake Bitcoin it takes a very long time.

Bitcoin was launched many years ago like in 2008 and it is still going very good based on any news, while etherium was launched last 2015 far behind from bitcoin,though it received an over whelming response but I guess it will not take over in the next year. Etherium doesnt compete with bitcoin but because of the popularity of it and the rising market many believe that it will take over bitcoin.

I can't agree with you. Ethereum has a strong pereformace right now just because of it is the first blockchain 2.0 project, a lot of project based  on that.

But the are a lot of base chain are doing the same thing and will have much more pereformace than ethereum in less than 1 years.

And bitcoin is the center of crypto, it is like the gold to the world. So I don't think  ethereum will take over bitcoin.

Everything can be done, and undoubtedly ethereum is a project with great projection and usefulness for people, without neglecting the innovative bitcoin in its development, I believe that in a couple of years the etereum will surpass the bitcoin

I think this too. I heard somewhere however that Ethereum platform has 53% of all crypto transactions. Some how Ethereum offers more but Bitcoin has more respect by the community. If most people were forced to choose they would go with Bitcoin. Bitcoin is the defacto description of cryptocurrencies like the word "hoover" is for vacuum cleaners.

Everything is possible! Now is the time when there are more and more coins! Bitcoin, though the first in the list, but it can not last forever!
ETH may well come to replace him, and lead the list of cryptocurrencies!

Ethereum will grow in good pace for sure, But I highly doubt ETH will become cryptocurrency for the masses. Probably LTC or XLM or something similar will capture the market unless BTC core team solve the micro transactions.

I think Ethereum is already there by share volume of transactions compared to bitcoin.

If bitcoin doesn't evolve and quickly the myspace vs Facebook moment is around the corner. I try not to get sentimental about bitcoin but the writing is on the wall

The weightage for the bitcoin will be always higher as compared to the ethereum. Im completely in favour with the ethereum as good investment but it always comes after the bitcoin.
Ethereum does not really reach the top of the bitcoin price because there are more traders in bitcoin than ethaneum.

In my opinion Ethereum will going to steady top 2 altcoins.But not takeover Bitcoin.Ethereum has many supporters and investors nowadays but bitcoin is the father of Currency.
