Ethereum will overtake Bitcoin

I don't think eth will ever over bitcoin and i don't think eth will reach bitcoin price, this because eth is a smart contract blockchain and if you can see eth already have many competitors in the space already and in the future some might even over eth in terms of better service delivery, so eth will share it's market value with a lot of other smart contract blockchain. So this is the i think it won't over bitcoin.

I don't think this might happen this year. Bitcoin is much more spreaded, many industries are already built on BTC, so it will take much time to replace it by another cryptocurrency.,,,,futhermore,,,the rate at which bitcoins is going we can not compare it with that of etherum,,so for etherum to overtake bitcoins is kind of hard

I believe anything can happen now. Bitcoin is strong but ETH in nearest future might even surpass BTC. The main problem for BTC is the rising transaction fee. ETH has proven to be a good platform for ICO's and a good coin to hold

I like Eth a lot and as a matter of fact currently have a larger portion invested in it compared to Bitcoin, but I doubt that it can surpass Bitcoin in both price and value since the latter is too popular.

There is no guarantee that Bitcoin will always remain as the no.1 crypto-currency, in terms of popularity and adoption. If you check the stats, then you can see that the Bitcoin market dominance has fallen from 90% to 37% during the last three years.

Ethereum can not beat the cost of bitcoin. The current crypto-currency market is arranged so that the price of all altcoins depends on the price of bitcoin. Ethereum happens, exhibits price independence, but not for long. Therefore, ethereum grows in price when both bitcoin rises simultaneously. I consider the price dependence of the entire crypto currency to be one of the biggest shortcomings of the crypto-currency market. This situation needs to be changed somehow. I really don't think about ethereum overtaking bitcoin both are good cryptocurreny and are at a high price either of the two you will earn money.
