you are wrong.

Ok, I misinterpreted his rationale. In that way I would give a 4TH/s evaluation of even less than the current price, perhaps less than 0.003.

On the other hand, Labcoin isn't about its September hashrate, but its potential to keep a network percentage and making profits; same with AM. The charts on page 1 are reasonable, and you can see the current prices can be justified by around effectively 1% network share.
you wrong again.
if LABCOIN has 4TH now, share price could be 0.075 compared to AM without other facts(only take hashrate in account).

Wasn't it supposed to be 6Th worth of chips? Do we know what happened to the rest of the chips? I wonder if there's a serious yield problem. 130nm is so mature at this point that yields should be very predictably high.

It's not only about the chips. They stated that 500 boards are on order and that they start hashing the first week of September. Full deployment of 50 TH/s in October.

How about adding something useful to the thread? Go blather in the price speculation thread if you really care about short term moves so much. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=265388.0

IIRC There is no such thing really as yield when we are discussing bitcoin mining devices, it is not like a CPU where something can outright fail and you have binned chip, just perhaps performance will be a little less. There is few thousand chips as confirmed by the team

The only way Labcoin can say the exact hash rate is if they have working PCB in front of them,  software and so forth. This would take some time after receiving the chips. and besides they would of provided us with videos and photos if they had everything ready. So we can confidently say this stage is not ready yet and it may take them up to 10th of September (13 days from today) from today to solder the chips to board, plug into USB and start mining and testing hardware fully producing next batch and consumer devices, they said they will think about taking some photos within next 2 weeks and we can start to see some divs come in from that point.

Not sure I follow your reasoning here. They provided a number(6Th/s) and then appeared to lower that number to 3-4Th/s. Someone suggested they've said previously that they were selling some amount of hardware that might account for this estimate change, but I haven't yet seen anything to back that up. Since there are no real specifics from the company we're left to speculate on the cause of this apparent reduction. Some amount of dysfunctional or reduced functionality could account for this and some indication can be gleaned from test equipment without production boards to populate. Obviously if the chips aren't as capable as management thought then their timetable will be in jeopardy.

"Without other facts" is an axiomatically wrong thing to do, because the point was to compare the performance of AM  to that of Labcoin, with a bias against the latter. AM has sustained average dividends equivalent to 20% network rate. If you only consider Labcoin mining with 4TH/s, a 0.0075 share won't even pay itself back over its lifetime.

Almost no buy action so far. Still feels like it could drop a bit more.

None of you guys posting on repeat about how great LC is have said anything of value supporting your claims.  Your post 20 minutes ago literally said "why people selling"; you clearly aren't in a position to be predicting anything.

A Downright Scam?

Labcoin belongs to iTec company, which is actually located in Shenzhen  Integrated Circuit Design Industrial Base (SZICC) ,in the company's contact column, post the real phone, but when somebody call for asking labcoin matters, who answered the phone seems to be surprised about the phone number' reveal.  shortly after the call, the contact page of the company was changed immediately, and now the webpage closed (http://www.szicc.net / Portals / LinkUs.aspx? UID = 227).

I at least prefer fancy incompetent calculations. At least that's factual and can be debated. The price is going up, the price is going down - I don't need a play by play on BTCT.
