Here is what will happen. Labcoin will state: "We are hashing". stock price will jump up and then there will be a massive sell-off. Then everyone on here will be like "Oh, well, we really don't have any proof that they are hashing until they start paying dividends - that is the real news."

Every step of the way, everyone anticipates news, Labcoin gives it, and then everyone downplays the significance of the news, and says "the next announcement is the one that matters."

question for anyone can help me answer plz

1) if labcoin bring on 3-4 TH in 1 week and you buy in today at market price- what $/GH rate are you paying?

2) if labcoin brings online 50TH the month after, and the share price has at least doubled from today market price as predicted by many here- what $/GH rate are you paying?

Could you plz use your formula to evaluate the asicminer's price?

And ActM's as well. That would be fun to see.

Go take a quaalude and perhaps a brisk walk outside, have a cigarette or two, calm the hell down, and then come back and read this. I don't think you're going to catch on to the grander discussion until you lose the attitude, to be perfectly honest.

I only know what you tell people by reading what you type - I cannot know what you intend to tell someone unless you express yourself in an understandable way.

[copious emotion-based vomit deleted for brevity]

No shit sherlock. That's why I didn't use the phrase 'sell short' or 'short sell'. Again, short = to go short = sell. Got it yet? Fuck me.
*Sigh* no, actually, to short (as a verb, the way you used it) does not = to sell. I thought we went over this already. They're not the same thing. They are different. Not equal. Unequal. Doubleplusunsame.

Motley Fool? Fuck off! Stopped reading that 'for the masses' shit in the frigging nineties, motley fucking fool?! JESUS.
Stop right here if you understand that "to short" a stock is not the same thing as selling it. Thanks for taking the time to be unemotional about this. You may have unintentionally made a mistake, and now you're recanted. You've got it, congratulations. Let's move on.

--- read below this line only if you think it's the same ---

OK, then. If you still need the basics explained in easy-to-digest nuggets, this should be about as easy as it gets - it was written JUST for folks like you who use words they shouldn't use. At least one person already caught on to the subtle hint I gave you when I mentioned the motley fool... all you did was get even more pissy about it all. I mean, if you had intended (there's that word intent again... something I'm still not sure about in your case, since you still haven't explained away your improper use of the word "short" yet) to say that you wished shareholders would sell, but you accidentally used the word "short", then that's one thing. But you've doubled down twice now, insisting that you know what you're talking about... so I have to assume you are exactly the right audience for this article:
Here you go.

question for anyone can help me answer plz

1) if labcoin bring on 3-4 TH in 1 week and you buy in today at market price- what $/GH rate are you paying?

2) if labcoin brings online 50TH the month after, and the share price has at least doubled from today market price as predicted by many here- what $/GH rate are you paying?

If labcoin brings online 50TH, with 10m shares that's 0.005 GH/share. With a share price doubled as you state, that means ~0.007/share, which translates to ~1.4BTC/GH.

ASICMINER has about 50TH now, so that makes a great comparison, right? Let's compare it to that:

ASICMINER 50TH, with 400k shares that's 0.125 GH/share. With a share price of ~2.5BTC/share, that translates to ~20BTC/GH.

LC 1.4BTC/GH
AM 20BTC/GH

Maybe this comparison helps you understand that this is not a fucking mining bond and that you can stop with your stupid FUD you clown.

ASICMiner is:

A) Horrendously overvalued

B) About to bring a great deal more hashpower online, likely 200TH or more

So your comparison proves nothing.

A) Horrendously overvalued

I disagree with this. AM is pulling 30% dividend per share at the moment so its no where near overvalued.

A) The market doesn't agree with you. And we're talking about the difference of 1.4 to 20 here, 14 times as much. What do you think the right value of AM is? 0.2 BTC per share?

B) And LC will just stop bringing more hashpower online of course?

The comparison is completely appropriate. If LC brings 50TH online, it has already proven itself trustworthy in the same way AM did and deserves a similar valuation.

I didn't actually, you misread either or both of our posts. Your big "IF" was attached to the 50Th/s that we hope LC brings on after the 6 3-4Th/s we're hoping they bring online next week. Which they'll only be able to do IF their chips work and IF their boards are ready...which should have been done before the chips arrived anyway.

Yes that is the attitude that makes you a pedantic asshole. What I said was perfectly understandable grammatically and contextually.

You're obviously quite bitter about the fact you don't know jack shit about stock terminology.  To short something always means to sell something short or else buy put options or the like.

The idea that you actually know jack shit talking about 'red engulfing candles' or whatever chartology-astrology gobbledygook you think means anything whatsoever is absurd.

What you said was 'understandable' as being something someone who doesn't know WTF they're talking about would say.

Your comparing hardware to a companies stock lol, are you a 3rd world country retard yes you are from your wonderful broken engrish

* You're

it's actually very simple concept as what we are doing is mining bitcoins which is investment in itself. therefore it's a race for low $/gh and low power consumption

you can buy end user hardware today (one of worst) at significantly LOWER $/GH than what you are 'investing in' for tomorrow purely to generate dividends to recover your investment,  and ultimately make a profit

if you couldn't break even, let alone make profit yesterday, why would you invest in it at a premium tomorrow?

if LABCOIN dropped 50 TH/S right now you would be looking at 98$ for 1 GH. asicminer usb stick available now for $70/GH, blade overclock available now for $50/GH..they don't make profit mining- only make profit off sales because of scarcity of other hardware..now chips shipping and asics beginning to deploy & we are on 25$/GH already shipping, down to $19 for next time

and reality check, labcoin have said they will bring online less than 7% of that hashrate leaving you with more like, what $1392/GH
you are better off mining with GPU's LOL  Grin Grin

all the while, difficulty going up and up..it's simply nonsense to imagine buying in at 2x, 10x todays price.I wouldn't buy in at half todays price

basically this, stick with promises of 28nm and smaller

It really saddens me when people try to evaluate a stock like Labcoin, ActM, AM etc. as if they were buying mining equipment.

I'm going to use very few words as not to confuse you.  When you purchase stock in a company, you are investing in an unknown amount of Hash power as they will be continually adding more as time goes on.  Returns could rise if the company obtains a higher percentage of total network hash rate or it could decline if they fail to keep up. Hardware sales will also be sold and profits will go towards dividends.

When you buy a piece of hardware, that hardware will always mine at a set rate and returns will diminish over time.

I can appreciated trying to troll a stock that is about to take off, but at least do it with an argument that makes some sort of sense.

They can't come up with a good argument because they are not intelligent enough to do so.

When creativex's stock is tanking you can bet he will be in other threads trying to spread some uncertainty.  Probably my least favorite security owner of them all.

Hey bud...check *THIS* out.

https://btct.co/portfolio/f8A1

This thread is crawling with trolls and cheerleaders. I'm neither, but I am a shareholder and I have some questions about what LC is doing. I'm sorry if that bothers you.

what i don't get about these trolls is they say they don't give a jackshit about this stock yet they blow entire day away trying to troll so hard... i mean why the f.ck are you trolls still here? why so much effort if this stock doesn't mean anything to you? oh i forgot... you are here to "save" us all because you "care"...   Cheesy

I've noticed across all stocks that when the real movements happen, it has nothing to do with troll posts (TheSwede excepted). It's quite sad to watch people motivated by sheer desperation. They're putting all their effort into not failing, when they should be putting it towards succeeding.

Keep clam & hodl on
