****WARNING to all Labcoin Shareholders****

People there are no traces going to the chips on these circuit boards. There are no decoupling capacitors near the chips and there does not appear to be a ground plane on the board. Ask any of the DIY asic developers here on the forum and they will confirm that these things are absolutely necessary to create a working miner.

I was a big believer in Labcoin but i am completely out now. This is a disappointing end to what could have been a promising venture.

I welcome a realistic explanation from Labcoin but at this point I am seriously warning anyone to invest at their own risk.

NO ANSWER TO THAT EITHER ?

People buying @ 0.002 I hope you know what you're doing.

Yeah. They know. Losing money

That made me laugh...so sad we believed in everything. That awful moment, when FUD becomes reality.

OK this was previously speculation but is now officially confirmed as the LIVE hash-meter until October 30

Too bad for the "We're hashing at 2 TH/s"

Now, what can we expect from November 1st and later?
Compared to KnC, BitFury, eASIC, CoinCraft, etc? 28nm, 0.3W/GH, what can we expect from LABCOIN?

These are the #2 questions to be addressed to consider buying back AT ANY PRICE (or not selling hold for those who still hold), after the #1 questions already asked but yet to be answered.

So will there be a div this tuesday?

Yes, of course. Why would you expect anything different? Doesn't Labcoin always do what it says it will do?

Ahem... I'll just leave this here. http://virtualminingcorp.com/  Grin

Trying real hard not to be rude when you post a counter point using a project that has a 10x higher valuation providing less proof of working tech.

Sorry, an eASIC press release is pretty much proof of working tech.  I think ActM has a lot of issues but their chips should have zero problems.  They'll actually have the exact same wiring as the FPGAs they're copied from, as they are using an FPGA copy process - which means 100% testability as well.

The problems I see for them are putting together circuitboards, delay, and so on. Plus competing directly with hashfast and cointerra in the same time frame.

Labcoin's major benefit was it's time to market, and that's being eaten away.

boards should be ready when chips arrive and putting chips onto boards isn't exactly hard - a one man operation can do ~400 boards/day (quoted from memory from a avalon building project). the only delay can be the chips, and with avoiding overloaded TSMC, i think they are in the best spot possible.

buy activeminer on bitfunder while it is cheap.

Yep, it will be .0005% of your IPO deposit.

And there will be some kind of Transaction Issues™, therefore it will only be paid out in Early November™

If you want to play it safe, cash out any speculative stock (especially those who are NOT MINING like ActM and this one), at least until they start hashing for real. Hold your BTC instead, they are going to rise in value more than the stocks IMHO Grin
