To the developers,
Mega NZ is a site I and others refuse to download from. (This can't be the first time you heard about them)
Your 'mandatory update' skydrive link is dead.
The link on google docs is good and I tried it but it 'sticks' at 6084 in the blockchain.
When I get round to it I suppose I can compile but I suggest you try to correct these items since many others will not bother.
There is no shortage of coins to mine.
If you are trying to attract support making it a 'turn key' operation is best.
Personally I am moving on.

If you're going to invest time and energy in mining a coin -- any coin -- you'd be well advised to read more than the first post.

It blows my mind that anyone wouldn't wholeheartedly support MEGA.

I've managed to sync by running 1.0/1.1 until I get the chain downloaded and then I switched to 1.2. I'm currently on block 9964.
I installed 1.2 on a new machine and tried to sync, but it stopped at 6084. This needs to be fixed.

Run 1.0/1.1 until you sync. You can check the current block by checking a pool (phs.minar.cc). Then, once you are synced, switch to 1.2 and it will keep sync.

6084 seems a fork point, just wait and be patient, it will go through it and sync with the good chain. The program seems need to go thru both chains and compare, that's why it stuck there for some time, but eventually it will go thru it.

Try 1.2. I installed 1.2 on a new machine and I'm trying to sync it. It's sitting at 6084, but I'm going to let it run overnight and see if it can get on the right chain. If enough of us get on the right chain, this fork will be a thing of the past.

Coin is 2 weeks old, nobody but me needed an explorer?
I agree! i kind of do it manually when i need to check something out... but just to be sure, where did you get the litecoin explorer link from ? This pool ( http://phs.minar.cc/index.php) is strange when I look at the info (in the statistics section)Current Block 9763 http://explorer.litecoin.net/search?q=9763Edit:Apparently this is not the only pool that was lazy and didn't change the link to the explorer. Coders, copy and paste anything without proofreading. C'mon peoples if you are going to introduce a product at least test it first! Hey i asked you a few time already, where did you get that link?? If you are going to criticize, please at least do it in a helpful way by providing feedback on the matter.

Minar.cc pools are not running anymore, the domain was registered by someone else and I don't have any relationship with the new owner.

I have 1.1 and 1.2 windows bins if need be, did you try just to let it sit there for a long time to see if it corrects?
I have not tested this method myself since 'the load 1.1 to get the chain and then switch to 1.2' seems to be the fastest way.
Oh someone also posted the blockchain files for win and linux a few pages back in this thread

Could do with some more hashing power at http://www.miningpool.co Minar.cc is now an excellent pool and congrats to sheinsha for being the first, and restarting the pool after the disaster of the past few days. For now, I'm going to aim my modest hashpower at miningpool.co to spread it around. ethought: Where do the donations go, to you or the dev? I'm not donating to the dev.

DO NOT USE THIS METHOD, USE THE NEWEST CLIENT. I stuck at block 7028, any ideas ?
You've got massive hashpower, don't you? You might want to crank it down if it's possible that it could cause a fork.
Have you been following the thread, and you came unsynced after being ok for the past 24 hours or so, or did you just try to get (re)synced for the first time in a while?
I looks like this is going to be an ongoing problem with people so...
For those on Windows, a cure for sticky blocks is this:
1. Backup your wallet and keep this backup.
2. Delete everything from the C:\Users\<your username>\AppData\Roaming\Philospherstone
3. Run the 1.0 client and let it sync, it may take a while. These are currently the only nodes in my .conf:
addnode=24.6.21.198 addnode=46.150.89.173 addnode=64.120.17.149 addnode=70.29.193.48 addnode=125.79.142.201
4. After 1.0 syncs, stop it immediately. Don't let it sit too long or it might lose sync.
5. Start 1.2, and it should stay in sync. Watch it for a few blocks to make sure it stays synced.
6. Stop 1.2
7. Copy back your wallet file, but keep the backup.
8. Run 1.2, it should sync or get in sync within a minute. Sometimes there's a lag in the last few blocks. You should eventually get a decent amount of connections, I have 44.
9 Run repairwallet from the debug console. Don't be surprised if you lose coins.
10. Profit!
If you don't get lots of good connections, you might need to forward port 16281 on your router. I have UPnP turned off.
EDIT: UPDATED WITH LINKS:
Windows versions 1.0 and 1.1 are here in a single zip (copy/paste the whole line):
https://mega.co.nz/#!SRNEwYxD!fgjB22TzBDSz9QcvKwo-0QuiwpRNjBF3k4GA92De_S8
These are the files posted in good faith as I received them from the original links. Anyone who downloads them ASSUMES ALL RESPONSIBILITY for ANYTHING that goes wrong. There are additional shortcuts for rescan and salvagewallet. Do not use these shortcuts unless you know what you're doing. Be aware that salvagewallet may delete your receive addresses.
Note: Version 1.1 will show 1.0 in the about box.
ALWAYS KEEP BACKUPS OF YOUR WALLETS.
