Which version you guys using? 1.1 or 1.2? I guess 1.2 is the one to use?
Try 1.2. I installed 1.2 on a new machine and I'm trying to sync it. It's sitting at 6084, but I'm going to let it run overnight and see if it can get on the right chain. If enough of us get on the right chain, this fork will be a thing of the past. Key is the pools, we should keep the same versions as used by the pools. Could do with some more hashing power at http://www.miningpool.co Minar.cc is now an excellent pool and congrats to sheinsha for being the first, and restarting the pool after the disaster of the past few days. For now, I'm going to aim my modest hashpower at miningpool.co to spread it around. ethought: Where do the donations go, to you or the dev? I'm not donating to the dev. Thanks for your kind words You are welcome back any time

Minar.cc pools are not running anymore, the domain was registered by someone else and I don't have any relationship with the new owner.

I agree ,I set a miner to split between the two pools both running well.

Since client 1.1 downloads the entire chain right to the end no problem... and 1.2 gets stuck in the ~6084? fork... does this mean we are all actually now on the 1.1 chain and the 1.2 died back at 6048? Deep, I know. is there anyway to know for sure... what client version for the pool was that 200 block orphan lol philosophise.

The only reason 1.2 gets stuck is because we accept it as an inevitability.

Sync will start if you do as Molitor wrote. And if your wallet is locked, open it on console with walletpassphrase <passphrase> <timeout> command, then it will start sync your stakes too.

Copy back your wallet file. Not sure how to do that?
Dragging the backup file onto the client says URI cannot be parsed
Figured this out, but I had sent PHS from my my pre-change client to the 1.2 and it would have received those when it was stuck. The wallet now that it is unstuck does not show the coins... :{
Lost them all? 11k gone... ugh

To copy back your wallet: put the file "backupwallet".dat you made into the Appdata/roaming/philosopherstone/ directory and rename it wallet.dat. When you start up again, I am pretty sure, it will re-create the index file. Then you should see you balances. BTW::: WTB 1000PHS @0.1BTC any takers?

Well it is really difficult to tell from here, can you tell me which OS are you in? and please tell me what files are there on your .Philosopherstone or APPDATA folder. Remember to list the hidden files too please EDIT: also tell me the size of your actual wallet.dat

ok now, on your QT, go to Debug -> Console and type: this will backup your wallet in a safe way. After verifying that the wallet was backed up (it is at c:\wallet.dat) type: and post the output EDIT: this wont give me any sensitive info.. just the status of your wallet, meaning corrupted or not.

lol not if you mean by thievery, i was just offering to help you out. i did the same thing for pr9me when his nanotoken wallet became corrupted. i was under the impression you were offering a bounty of some type(maybe 100 coins for my troubles?). i've noticed a problem of people's wallets getting corrupted on windows 7. someone should look into that a little imo

additional data. The transaction was between client 1.0 and client 1.2 without being synced.
if I use old wallet, the transaction id is e916fe7bde22e43a87c3b4f9222d512629f16cb80473f5e2a6726afb82841cdc , but it has 0 confirms.
Maybe this is clue to you?

thats not good, i mean the wallet is fine that means it has no coins stuck. Is this the wallet that originally had the coins, or is it a new one?

thats not good, i mean the wallet is fine that means it has no coins stuck. Is this the wallet that originally had the coins, or is it a new one? dude, i have extensive time dealing with this problem. its a windows 7 issue that has nothing to do with coins being stuck. just certain tx hashes freeze wallets from time to time on windows 7. i've found that i can import them on windows xp sp 1 with no problem. trick works on vista too. haven't tried windows 8 yet. worth a shot. in the computing world these are known as uncaught exceptions, ie. an block or tx hash that doesn't meet the define rules(chainstart/target size/etc.) but is still acceptend in the chain.) it happens all the time in litecoin variants and mostly goes unnoticed. it happened a on bitcoin less than a week ago and froze the electrum servers. minor inconvenience, should be able to work around it
