I do not think it is dangerous because you are holding coins for what is worth mentioning. If you keep an Altcoins but it's worth it you do not need to worry. People usually say a coin is more than nine coin. So be confident when you hold a coin but it can change the appearance.
in any case, if we assume that all investments are directed to the etherium, then I think that these are fully justified actions.

it is very risky if you only risk all the money for one altcoin, I advise you to divide into several altcoin posts so that when other coins suffer losses can have a coin reserve to stabilize your finances.

very high likelihood, the possibility of getting high profits is very high therefore both possibilities can occur.
Of course it is. This is the reason they say do not keep all your eggs in one basket. There is always a threat of loosing some money if you put in your whole savings in one asset. It might counter any sought of strict regulations from the government or it might loose liquidity due to any sudden crash. Besides, keeping many assets intact often maximizes the amount that you might have earned otherwise. So better apportion your money into multiple coins.

I will not tell you about the risk of risk because you already probably know about it. Try to analyze the top 10 altcoins and invest in at least 2 projects. And then analyze and share with us with the news)

I think that this is really a stupid decision, with such investments, you can lose a lot more than distribute your funds

If you invest all your money in only one project, what you have done could be likened to putting all your eggs in one basket or testing the depth of a river with both feet. If there is any challenge that may lead to failure of the project, that means your money is gone. Spreading your investment makes more investment sense.

If you will invest all your money in one coin you could lose your money, so the best optionis to separate your investments!

In my opinion it is not dangerous if Altcoins have the potential and the good. You can guard against the risk if the Altcoins sell in bulk but only one Altcoins in the coinmarket does not fall and that's the one you hold.

The same thing I will tell myself ; FOMO. I certainly can't think of putting my money in one portfolio - - the series of "what if" will give me nightmares. I think you can put  more of your money in BTC and share the rest between-maybe three Altcoins? (ARK, LINK, STELLAR) (ETHEREUM, Swachhcoin, Ripple). You should also be sure of what kind of trader you want to be, long time, short time, this will fuel your move too

This is not smart. Learn the basics of investing, the most important rule is diversification. If a person does not know this, it is better to wait with investments.

Hi,
the altocoin market is so variuous and there are dozen of interesting projects that can be supported.

But  i'm a little investor (500$) and i'm seriously thinking to put all my money in only 1 project I think is very good which curretly is in the top 40 of altcoins. I don't want to say the name because my topic wants to be very general: what do you think is the risk  by doing so? Should I invest in 2 or 3 coins instead?

Thanks

If you are not that good in choosing coins or making research about altcoins, then diversifying is best for you since this is the safest way to invest.because you will have options of gaining and even if one dies the you still have another chance to earn

i would suggest not to do that only if you are confident that it's the right choice. i would rather invest in more that one coin so my chances of profit are higher. i more diverse portofolio more chances to have profit.

I myself have never invested in one coin and it gives a difficult choice when the price falls so my money will also run out so I still choose on a good coin and definitely like btc eth and ripple

the higher the risk the higher the return, but a normal thinking trader will not invest all his money in 1 altcoin because they are still looking forward to the future that they can secure a money for themselves rather than hoping for a sheer luck.

It is better not to buy all the money one coin. As said Vitalik Buterin quote this lottery and not fact that you lucky.

"Do not Put Eggs In one basket", that is, the words that should always be remembered by the Investor. As investors we don't want to fall on the stairs and hard to wake up again. then investors generally divide their investment portfolio

Agree, dividing money into many places is certainly better and safer, too risky if you save and depend on one coin, many big projects that are initially promising but proven to be a scam, beware.

The current market status for whatever reason can also affect the Altcoins. Cryptocurrencies market will also modify the price, so you should invest in time and appropriate allocation. If you feel that investing in Altcoins is too risky, then basically invest in two media coins, Bitcoin and Ethereum.
