Yes it is but you could also gain a huge profit from it.
I think it is better to have other option specially in investment what if the crypto that you choose ends up dropping down you wouldn't have something to back that up.

I think, it is very risky if you just put your money in one place because if you fail and lose then you will lose all your money, it is better to put in several places so that you will also have more opportunities to be able to get profit

Hi,
the altocoin market is so variuous and there are dozen of interesting projects that can be supported.
But i'm a little investor (500$) and i'm seriously thinking to put all my money in only 1 project I think is very good which curretly is in the top 40 of altcoins. I don't want to say the name because my topic wants to be very general: what do you think is the risk by doing so? Should I invest in 2 or 3 coins instead?

we must split min 2assets and more. "Dont put all your eggs on one basket"

Yeah, it's not wise to invest all in only one particular coin as that is more prone to suffer a heavy loss. It's always suggested to invest in parts in different currencies as that reduces the chance of losing money and also lessens the risks of investment on a particular crypto... |

Dont just invest to 1 coin. Honestly it's to risk, part your fiat for another coin who you think it's the best for your profit. When 1 of your invest not get profit for your plan. At least another can get the profit.

No it's not safe. Because if you invest your whole money in one coin and the price of that coin decreases then you will have a big loss and you will have to wait a long time for the price increase. So invest in 3-4 coins without investing in a single coin at all.

Wait. Do n't invest all your money like this. Even if you comlitely sure about coin you invest you should separate your money and pick several coins

No, it's risky and not safe. Do not invest all your money on one coin. Pick several coins with potentials, like 3 - 4 coins. If you lose in one you can gain profit in another to cover up for the loss. One can't really know what will happen, many coins you might think has potentials can disapoint

its not wrong to invest on a single coin as long as you know that the coin you invested are legit and well known but if you put all your funds in an unkown altcoin , then that is indeed a risky move because you wont know if that coin is trully legit or not . diversifying his funds into 3 to 4 different coins is also a good idea to minimize the risk of being bankrupted but at the same time it can also help out maximizing his gains . |

One quick example. Imagine you've bought Ethereum for $380 during the dip and spent all your money for one asset. Remembering that ETH was around $1000-$1200 and is a constant top 3 coin you think that it is a good investment planning to sell it at least at $600. Then another dip happens and ETH is around $190-210. You are an investor now!  |

It is very risky to invest in one coin. Better of course buy a few coins from the top 10 coins. Their popularity is high and if the rate of one of the coins will fall, you can earn with the price of another coin.

all the money in one altcoin is very high risk, we know if perhaps the worst thing is that the coin is a scam. but if you want all the money in 1 altcoin you can choose a potential coin like ethereum or bitcoin. it certainly provides security for your assets.
