ICO projects are good projects and should not die. There is variety in altcoins because of ICO

I don't believe ICO's will die in 2018. However due to the scams, the way that ICO's are conducted in general will definitely need to change. I like what the CEO of WePower said regarding ICOs - he said that ICO's in the future will be a mix of what we see today in Venture Capitalism and what ICO's are today. I also see further regulation (whether it be Government regulation or self-regulation) on how ICOs are conducted in the future as an inevitability.

ICOs do not exactly disappear, because they are very convenient and profitable. Perhaps they will somehow change, but they will definitely remain. I think that in 2018 the number of ICO will be much more than in 2017.

I don't think cryptos should be mixed with startups/kickstarters. Cryptos should be trustless, transparent and decentralized, ICOs are none of those things so using a blockchain platform doesn't really offer any benefits to them, in fact just giving a bad name to cryptos.

Most of them will die, for sure: lot of ICOs are just scam, other are poor project, other have bad management, and so on.
But some of them - that offer real value - will survive and will prosper.

I don't think ICO's will die in 2018 because there are many people who create new coins and technologies. Without investors altcoin and BTC markets will die, so we need investments and different places to invest so capital can flow to and from the cryptocurrency market.

The blockchain technology is just gaining traction. We are not even close to utilising it to the fullest potential. More uses can be only discovered by promising ICO, so i don't think they will die. We need good ICOs a lot in the moment.

ICO can trust or distrust is up to you discussion , because ICO team can specify all members and history before they pre-sell tokens if you fear to scammers just don't buy.

ICO has an awesome future and it is not going to end easy, it will grow more with time as many people are still getting involved. ICO of trusted projects has already delivered giant returns as soon available on exchange. As many people are getting involved, very soon ICO will became more popular. Why should they die? I hope not, because they are trying to change something in this world, to help us( the people), with different product, project, vision. Yes, there are a lot of scammers, which are looking only for the people money, and for them there are going to be more regulations, starting from now. Many of you think that regulations is a bad thing, but without them we are like in a jungle, everybody doing what he wants, stealing what he wants. That needs to be stopped, and i hope in the future, everything to be safe.
