Ultimately, long term coins are more reliable and give better profits, ive seen that with the coins ive invested in.

Long term coins like Bitcoin and Ethereum for example are good, and i believe you will see most profits from there.

With high volatility even trading can bring you profits that might be equal as that from holding, but not a lot of people can do that. It depends on how much time do you want to spend.
If you are not a risk taker, buy and hodl.

It seems to me that if you choose coins with a lot of potential, then with long storage they can give you much more than a day trade. Always there should be an investment portfolio for long-term storage

For me, Long term holding will make you more profit than short-term, but i do not invest all my fund for long term, i divided in to 2 part for holding and trading daily. I only focus on holding top 10 coinmarketcap.

we always want to have quick money so we usually choose short term invest like trading, but i wont do this because it is risky to trade when we dont have much experiences, so long term investment like holding and investing ICOs will be better to have profit, but the problem is that it depends on lucks too much.

Long term - Bitcoin and Ethereum. Both are perfect assets. Short term - altcoins like Ripple, Cardano and IOTA that are good for trading and buying something.
same for me

I have diversified my portfolio. For long-term- Bitcoin, Eth and XRP For short-term - OMG, QTUM and Litecoin.
Bitcoin has proven to have great returns if you go for long-term similarly, Etherum is used by many DApp developers so it is in demand. Ripple is not really decentralized but it has many activities for 2018.

coins in the top 10 coinmarketcap can be used as a coin investment because it has been met in qualifying prospects for the future. so I think it's good to hold long-term coins using benchmark in coinmarketcap.

It just depends how the progress of Bitcoin market is, because you can't just stick only with one term like long or short term. You might lose an opportunity to maximize your earning with lot of chance sell it on short or keep it in the future.

I rely on midterm investment, and I'm targeting cut loss 5% - 10%. And if I achieve 20% profit - 30% then I will sell coin.

to save energy and mind we better choose long-term investments in certain coins like bitcoin, ethereum because this coin has a good potential in the future. for short term investment I like coins that are finished ICO because usually the price after appearing in the market will go down first

crypto trading investment have two part long term and short term as coin have two both sides. bitcoin, eth and ripple are long term coin and this give very profit but passion is must for this. other altcoin is not fix but grow very fast in short term but this is some risky way. my opinion 80% give long term and 20% invest in short term.

may it be a long term or short term, it depends upon the situation you may really profit a lot in long term holdings but when the you're in a situation where you really need a money you had no choice but to exchanged it to fiat, or when you think you've earn enough then you're free to exchange anytime. I think its really up to you how you handle your portfolio and i believe there is no right and wrong decision regarding it.

I prefer short-term, if it is now a profit, although not many, it does not need to wait tomorrow, because we never know what will happen tomorrow,

I referrer short term for ICO. Invest wait for first big exchange and sell half of coins, if it will go high. And start to search some new ICO to investment.
