Bitcoin is slow to make progress, its an ancient dragon set mostly in its ways. This has pros and cons but with the speed of adoption we are seeing on the technological curve on blockchain technology bitcoin needs to get its shit together to stay relevant. In 2018 I dont see anything bad happen. 2019 and beyond tho? I highly doubt bitcoin will stay #1 forever, no matter what the hodlers want to believe. Follow the money.

bitcoin will stay the biggest coin for a while. but due to the high fees and duration of tranfer it might go away in te future nobody knows. De product that starts a "revolution" does not often survive, i do not yet think this is the time and bitcoin will go higher in 2018. but as everybody says nobody can see the future( as far as i know)

Im expecting BTC to be at 100k$ this year.

I think it will steadily grow, unless whales come into the market.

IMO 2018 will be the year for ethereum.

Ripple is on its way too, stratis is slowly improving its service but this are my top bets in 2018. Ethereum has an upcoming hardfork (is this a humor?)  If not then many investors will go into ETH because they want its hard fork.

This is true because altcoin can be double compounded, Ive been wrong in holding BTC for a year (I always exchange my altcoins to BTC) which If i sell my altcoin now, it will be more than all of my accumulated BTC.

Today I was reading the opinion of some company chairs forecasting the price of bitcoin during 2018 between $6000 and $25000, while I have heard others speak of a price over $40,000.
