What will you do with your Bitcoin in 2018? Will it become more valuable?

i already have a plan to do with bitcoin this year, i know i don't have much experience on trading so i won't spend too much time on trading but holding instead, hold until bitcoin can break the 18000$ to sell for profit, dont want to be too greedy, of course i know bitcoin will keep rising more so i can wait for another drop to buy back again.

Establishing a set price can be a mistake, many people in the last year set a price of when they wanted to sell and then bitcoin surpassed all the expectations we all had for bitcoin for that year so the best bet is to follow the trend, if bitcoin goes up a lot more then keep holding and only sell when it seems the price may crash or when your skills in trading tells you bitcoin is overbought and that it could begin to crash at any moment.

It is always a mistake, and one thing that I have always done to be safe in the long term is to follow trend and sell out when a trend is obviously changing.

A trend can never change overnight, it is a gradual process as the market will try to hit resistances, try different support and all that as it keeps going down, but there are indicators to always help with that. I believe with this highly fluctuating market, traders with knowledge have the best advantage than holders, but it requires a lot.

Probably hold on to it until i see a continuous drop that might suggest it's downfall, then I might sell. Basically, I would be very observant to the price fluctuations and be smart in keeping or selling my coins. No use looking too far ahead it's better to leave while you still have profit to gain.

If you are shying away as a result of some government punishment, you may end up not being able to take hold of your own future. You have so many ways you can get it even without having to use any exchange if it is not available to you and hold for your own future. I have always told myself that if my country mistakenly wants to try that shit, which I know they cannot anyway, then I will gladly relocate to a place where they have no problem with it.

Well, everyone have their own strategy and while some believe in just holding forever, some absolutely believe that it would always be good for them when they do the short term thingy or long term thingy depending on how they follow the trend. I have not been doing this for a while, but with my level of trading, I feel I would rather prefer the full long term investment with trend following. The essence is to increase my bitcoin quantity in the long run anyway and still play safe.

The fact is that the etherium's protocol is quite strong and promising for the future in the world of crypto-currencies. A very large percentage of coins, ico of companies, is due to this protocol. Bitcoin is for long time investment so I will still hold my bitcoins until the time I need the money for my own purposes. My target in 2017 has been reached. Now I start buying back coins to invest in order to reach my goal by 2018. Yeah buying at this point should at least even out your losses a little once the bears are done with their patrying. Everyone would prefer to have a mostly bullish market all year round but we can't forsee certain things like what's happening now with mt.gox dumping.

Well holding forever is not really an option for many of us, I think that at best some whales will be able to do something like that, the rest of us have a goal we want to achieve with bitcoin and once we get it then I will sell a good portion of my small holdings, I think that is natural I know that I could obtain more profits if I held for longer but I do not think I'm going to be able to hold for twenty or thirty years.

I too have the plans of holding the bitcoin for a longer time period. This will give promised growth and apart from this I have plans to make use of it into continued buying and selling based on the market, because the price has been fluctuating and not moving much to reach new ath above the $20000 mark.

Yes. Prices have been rather unstable in the markets, making Bitcoin struggle to reach past the $20,000 mark which was last year's ATH. But as well as you do, I'm holding lots of Bitcoin as I believe that something huge will happen this year which will lead to a massive price increase for Bitcoin. Perhaps, this year might end at $25,000 per coin, but since Bitcoin is volatile we'll never know what it's value would be in the long term.

It's only a matter of time before many countries recognize Bitcoin as a legal currency, to help boost its price and demand in the mainstream world. In the meantime, we could invest our Bitcoin into other altcoins that will help us multiply our capital while Bitcoin decides to rise in value.

I'm planning on hodling it for long, but the profits I'd get whenever btc would pump, I'll use it for investing in some other potential altcoins. I'll hodl the altcoins for like a month and at least gain 5% profit on my initial investment in that altcoin and wait for btc to dump then invest in btc agian.
