Of course, if you have money in your home budget to pay bills and pay for your needs, then of course you can wait for better times for Bitcoin and not sell your coins. If you are a person with financial independence then to believe in Bitcoin you are much easier. |

I am holding my bitcoin too like you and I still have my bitcoin in the exchanges because I want to be ready if the price increase higher so I can sell and wait for the price is down again. although we need to wait for the moment, I think it will worth for us if we could be patient for waiting for the price. but if in this year, the price cannot increase higher, I will still hold my bitcoin for a long time and no matter how long, I will wait for the price back to increase. |

During the new year of 2018, many of us Bitcoiners have resolutions to make our capital and Bitcoin holdings grow. Most will hodl onto their coins for the long-term until Bitcoin reaches an all-time high that would satisfy their goals. Other will sell their Bitcoin when they start to see prices falling below their targeted goal. One thing for sure, is that 2017 has brought us many exciting things for crypto land. Bitcoin and rest of altcoins in existence have risen in value exponentially over the course of the year. Now that 2018 is in its very beginnings, I would like to know what will you do with your Bitcoin (either hodl, buy more, or sell) and will the pioneer cryptocurrency rise further in price? Whenever you just hodl your coins over the course of 2018 or sell them, Bitcoin will make many more millionaires. What are your thoughts?  I'm not holding any bitcoin for now. Bitcoin drops huge already. I think it's not the right time to invest. Wait for the sign of it's climb. If it will cross $8000 again then it will be going up to $10000+ again. |

I will stick to my plan no matter what the price of bitcoin. We all have goal this year that needs to be achieve and I believe bitcoin will help us. I strongly believe that the price of bitcoin at the end of 2018 is beyond $20k and I'm so excited for that things, for now I will just continue to buy bitcoin at a cheaper price no reason to panic.
Yes. We shouldn't be tempted to sell our Bitcoins even if its price massively declines within a short time frame, as we would be making the worst decision in our lives. I have the feeling that this year would be better for Bitcoin as it starts adopting the Lightning Network for payments in the mainstream world. Once Bitcoin becomes practical to use with its cheap fees and fast transaction settlements, it will increase in price for sure. If by the end of the year, Lightning Network becomes widely used in the Bitcoin network, then I expect for the price to rise within $25,000 and beyond. Therefore, the best thing we could do is to buy Bitcoin while its cheap and hodl it no matter what. Hopefully, this year would end in a bright way like the last one for Bitcoin. It's only a matter of time before that happens and we should be prepared for it. |

It seems to me that the house is audible and Bitcoin's prospects do not come across too quickly. Apparently generally do and make money on the difference in the price of Bitcoin. The previous year 2017 bought many new surprises for btc community like hard folk segwit2x was cancelled and after some time prices went sky rocketting upto $19k and then came a major dip leaving all in looses and prices went down to $7000 but now the bloodbath is going to end soon and prices will again surge with boost.My plans are to buy some at this time, sell 25% when prices reach almost $18000 and rest hodl for longer period to gain huge profits.

Buy portion of bitcoins when the price fall and sell them at high price. I don't prefer to do invest, Since 98% of scammers are relate to bitcoins. So just made your own business. Buy some coin hold them and sell at high price. Its just like a long term invest if not a real trading, which can help you in future. |

Guys, never use ATH as a potential benchmark for the coin - it is totally unreliable and faulty way to determine price, potential and worth of cryptocurrency.
It reminds me the time after that first mega ATH in 2013 when Bitcoin price spiked to ~$1200 - do you remember when bitcoin reached that stable price of $1200 after 2013 ATH?
All we need to know that price is higher that one year ago and most likely will continue to grow even higher. Don't let the FUD take over your mind.

I believe the 2018 bitcoin will be worth it. I still take time to invest bitcoin. There are many bitcoin plans that I need to make this year. Nowadays, a lot of people know about bitcoin and expand it. The thing I need to do with bitcoin is to scrutinize the price of each penny I hold. Continue to participate fully in the bitcoin campaign.

That is a good decision i think. i also think that the current time is the best time for bitcoin to buy, because i still believe that 2018 will be more good and will be in favour of bitcoin more than 2017, because bitcoin is becoming popular from time to time and therefore the investor of bitcoin are increasing from time to time which is causing the bitcoin price to increase, so bitcoin price is still expected to increase too much hing in 2018. |

In 2018 i remain consistent to continue to hold my bitcoin, until the price actually moves up, because i am sure that by the middle of this year bitcoin will increase and become more valuable again.
I have great hopes in bitcoin, especially for my future and my family, so i keep investing and saving some of it to get a lot of profit in bitcoin when i later sell it for a high price.
The situation on the market is very strange. Today we see that everything is red, and tomorrow all the altcoins and Bitcoin grow. It is better to hold crypto now. |

While there is nothing wrong with having a plan and in fact it is recommended that you do at the same time you need to be flexible, you need to be able to adjust to the circumstances in the market if you do not then you could lose an opportunity that could give you significant gains and that is never a good thing. Being able to adjust is part of a plan. I probably would be a bit flexible to a few btcs but in bulk, i'm holding for long term. 2018 will be a good year or not, i don't know. And honestly i'm not too concerned about it. I'm looking way ahead in the future |

I am not so sure that we are going to see higher prices by the end of this year, it's quite likely that we are going to remain something close to the current range in which bitcoin is trading, unless something really important happens, despite all of that you should still keep holding in order to avoid losses, remember you do not really lose money until you sell. |

in this new year I will continue to hold my bitcoin and buy some alt coin again this year. I believe this year all alt coin will experience a rise. seeing from a few days in this year all alt coin keeps on increasing I believe it goes on like this till year.
I think most of us would hodl onto our Bitcoin over the long term, since it has the potential to further increase in value by then. This year has been off to a slow start, but the path is open for greater growth once Bitcoin and the whole cryptocurrency ecosystem improves to handle large TPS. With Bitcoin's Lightning Network, transactions would be blazing fast and dirt cheap while altcoins which adopt the Lightning Network, would be able to perform cross-chain atomic swaps within Bitcoin. Therefore, I believe that by the end of this year, we would be able to experience a higher price for Bitcoin as well as altcoins in the cryptocurrency market. Since altcoins rise when Bitcoin's value rises, then you could reap in the rewards if you've manage to invest in them. Personally, I prefer Bitcoin over most altcoins, but there are good altcoins which have a lot of potential of increasing in value within the future. Both EOS and Ethereum are alts which have such potential. But, Bitcoin will keep going up until it's the most valuable asset in the world. |

The price of bitcoin will surely increase but unfortunately no one knows exactly when that is going to happen, that is why it's important to remain consistent like what you are doing, I know that it can be very hard especially when the price crashed so rapidly at the beginning of the year, but if we want to avoid losing money and even better if we want to earn money we have no other option but to hold our coins no matter what. |

i still do not for what i am doing with my bitcoin this coming year.yes we know that bitcoin will become more valuable this year,but we have to be wise for selling our bitcoin,we must look for the good price then go for it .
Having a plan is way better than having no plan, even if at the moment you cannot create a very detailed strategy about what you are going to do with your bitcoin at least create something even if it's not more complicated than I'm going to hold my bitcoin for a few years, no one that becomes very successful does it by chance. |
