To be honest, I do not understand how Ethereum is detrimental to the market and what these smart contracts can do to change the situation with cryptocurrency in General.

Ethereum is not an institution. It is an underlying system that can realize smart contracts and open source in the blockchain. From the birth of Ethereum to May 2017, there are more than 200 ethers in the world in just 3 and a half years. Square application was born. Ethereum is a platform and a programming language that enables developers to build and publish next-generation distributed applications. Ethereum can be used to program, decentralize, guarantee and trade anything: voting, domain names, financial exchanges, crowdfunding, company management, contracts and most agreements, intellectual property, and smart assets that benefit from hardware integration.

Ethereum is a blockchain-based decentralized platform on which decentralized applications (Dapps) can be built.
Remember, blockchain is the structure the vast majority of cryptocurrencies run on. It’s a database with no central server that keeps track of every transaction and exchange.
We’ll jump into decentralized apps—referred to as dapps–in greater detail later, but just know they are applications that serve a certain purpose to a user. Fasten your seatbelts, some of these dapps are amazing.
Ethereum’s appeal is that it is built in a way that enables developers to create smart contracts. Smart contracts are scripts that automatically execute tasks when certain conditions are met. For example, a smart contract could technically say, “pay Jane $10 if she submits a 1000 word article on goats by September 15, 2018,” and it would pay Jane once the conditions are met.

Ethereum is also a kind of an altcoin. Right now I haven't study more about altcoins because my focus right now is the bitcoin but I have started studying about ethereum. It is not that easy to understand ethereum because you must have more time reading and researching about ethereum. I am just familiar with ethereum and has some knoledge about it but i still do not know so much about it.

Etherium is a good coin with sure utility for the whole cryptocommunity. It has good technologies, which can be implemented in many projects and rather fast transactions. These factors signify its price, while bitcoins is more about hype.

Only a developer would spend much time scrutinizing the build up structure of a project. Others which comprises of alot of people just want to make money and thus the codes means nothing much to them. They only take the opinion of the experts to make informed decisions

I can't understand ethereum blockchain like a smart contract developer, but I really search for it on the web and I see lots of promising things about ethereum. Also, there will be a pos change in ethereum as I saw it. From pow to pos maybe.

It sounds logic to read a lot of information before buying Ethereum. However, I don't have time to read everything, it is too much, so I just follow the market. You know what they say: the market is always right.

Yes, I can say that I understand ETH. I like this coin!
Ethereum - has a very powerful platform for creating decentralized online services based on blockchain based on intelligent contracts.
The Ethereum platform has already created a lot of powerful projects that have been successfully implemented.

Of course I understand the structure of Ethereum, I do not deny its day a lot of people who do not understand what Ethereum is and how it works, but still it seems to me that today such a project as ethereum has very good chances to become the main platform. Smiley Smiley Smiley
