Someone tried to scam the zetacoin community with 'Zetorg' as well, unfortunately people believe what they want to believe.  The ZBAD group are taking measures to ensure that due diligence is taken with respect to new zetacoin businesses posted here.

Sold the last of my Zet today, I think the fun is over for now, you're going to have to have some real news before it goes up again I think  Wink

I had a read, basically this is the short version- "We're going to change the world", "No-one knows how big this is, but we do!", "You're going to get your present soon", "We've done everything right", "We're really smart", "This is the best investment ever", "Our success is guaranteed!"

and my favourite: "We don't use bitcointalk or reddit, only pumpers and scammers use them anyway"

So anyway, I'll buy back in when it's the official currency of the one world government or something, by then I might have to use it to buy anything!  Roll Eyes

New build of Windows wallet (0.8.99.16) that uses OpenSSL 1.0.1g. This is a fix for the security issue that affected OpenSSL 1.0.1f and earlier.

I would of 'hopped on the train' if it seemed like new people were discovering Zetacoin and I thought it had unique innovations that deserved the attention, but that isn't what happened and I don't think it does...

So if you 'join the ride' then you don't know where it's going, it could be a plunge straight to the bottom, if it gets manipulated higher, that isn't meaningful either, you don't know how long it's going to last.

I do think there are good coins that are being manipulated down at the moment, it makes this one stick out even more. I hope people will stick with better coins, don't dump them for this. Let's be clear they haven't really stated there is a big announcement coming either.

Why do people dislike Zetacoin so much?  Do they fear it because it has the potential to have more use and value than Bitcoin?
I really don't understand where all the hate comes from.

These are my quotes, I've bought and sold Zetacoin lately because it's easy to make some gains right now on this coin... But any profits I'm using to buy more Quark and Mintcoin.  It's easier to see how these coins offer potential and innovation as Bitcoin alternatives. It's also easier to see on reddit and on this forum how the community is participating in the building of these coins. These are my picks but you might have others, that's fine.

Again though if you could explain why the price has risen so suddenly for Zetacoin based on some 'rumours' then people wouldn't be suspicious that this is some dirty trick being played out.

Zetacoin Update CW15

Hey girls and boys - here some updates for CW15 from ZBAD305 for you

We are very happy to welcome so many new members and Zetacoin enthusiasts who are willing to help and spread the idea of Zetacoin.
A community is always in need of people who are willing to work for something greater and who are patient, because as all of you know, it's not always going up (and I'm not speaking about the price here)

- We got added to various smaller exchanges and chart services. Also in talks with BTC38

- Few shops have been added to https://nobs.is/zetacoindir and @zetamaps

- Our BlockExplorer is ready (still needs to synch a little) www.zetachain.cc

- We got a new Wallet Version online very soon on zetacoin.cc (.r16 with the OpenSSL fix) you can also use the link Giskard provided a few Posts back

https://www.dropbox.com/s/nryp94l9uaww39b/zetacoin0899r16win.zip

- About this "news" http://www.bitcoinsachs.us/ - Open Letter from Konen

You might be disappointed or not, but I do not know where everybody got this idea of a great great announcement for Today on 2pm German Time.
But at least you can figure out by reading Konens open letter what's happening partly behind the scene.

Thank you

Actually here is a better announcement:

nobsis 3 points 15 days ago

I am working on the next update of cryptr, what includes a bitpay like merchant gateway for zetacoin

Once the wallet is ready (I believe the dev is very close) we will have real world business in Kenya and Tanzania who will use zetacoin as a full payment option. This includes mobile and POS payments

ATM card and ATM machine is about to be released, but I can't fix a date, no do I know. I am in contact with the guys, but it seems everywhere is something delay, even the PR campaign I purchased is delayed
.....

However, things will turn around, and they will turn hard!

This is mind-blowingly exciting news if all is true and brought to fruition ... it's a complete game changer. Am I understanding this correctly? Because from where I stand this looks like ZET would be the closest of real-world integration, competing directly with BTC in RL

Only remaining question for me is which is the company that Konen is partnering with. A lot of people on twitter act like it's too obvious who this is, I guess I am too stupid to figure it out.

Am I the only one having a lot of trouble to withdraw even tiny amounts of ZET from Crypstsy?

Lately it's strange with Cryptsy.
Sometimes It doesn't work and takes much time! Sometimes the amount iwant to transfer splits into some strange rate like 40/60 and the 40 gets withdrawn and the 60 stays on Cryptsy.
And sometimes there is no problem at all^^

I had a withdrawal split in half from cryptsy as well, half arrived, half stayed there.

I'm going to chalk it down to technical issues that may happen when you don't have much of a community that test the technology actually works  Huh
