Hello:

I'm testing the ZET fantastic fast transactions with the windows wallet... but i 've had a problem..

On BTC & PPC wallets you can store the data on another folder with -datadir, f example:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Bitcoin\bitcoin-qt.exe" -datadir=d:\BitCoinData

But this option i think is not available on ZTC wallet 0.8.99.0-unk-beta

This option is very interisting to keep your wallet if you format your PC.

Is there a Mac client for a wallet somewhere? I don't see one listed on their site.

The mining rewards has decreased sharply lately. A lot of hashing power coming in.

i am not sure by what you mean when you say being pumped?  Does that mean people are buying it?

Its the quick confirmations... The transaction take seconds whilst the transactions in bitcoin can take much much longer.. 200k.. Thats great...seems that today you are quite rich Smiley

That plus once all the 160 millions are mined, you still have 1 million issued a year, incentive for the miners to keep hashing without increasing fees.

Zetacoin will soon be in the FreeBSD ports collection along side bitcoin.

I've created and submitted a port:
http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=184369

If accepted, this should make installing zetacoin on FreeBSD as easy as running a single command.  The only potential problem I see is that "debug.log" file I was asking about earlier.  I'm not sure how to resolve that, and I don't think a 'symlink' would be an acceptable solution.

Sounds quite similar to GeistGeld then. Except that it cannot be merged mined, right? So the only hashing power it is going to get is taken away from other coins such as bitcoin, whereas you can mine GeistGeld right alongside all the other merged mined coins (bitcoin, namecoin, groupcoin, devcoin, ixcoin, i0coin, coiledcoin) using your same hashing-power. So why would I turn my hashing power away from merged mining eight coins at once to mine just this one coin? You could say ah but this coin is low difficulty, but coiledcoin and (especially) geistgeld are also low difficulty, so with merged mining I get two low difficulty coins at once plus also still get my bitcoins, namecoins, groupcoins, devcoins, ixcoins, i0coins and coiledcoins...

Oh and its not only geistgeld that keeps giving coins forever either; by merged mining I get several coins that will keep on going so miners won't need only fees to support them.

Then keep mining the way you do it. It's fine everybody has different views.
