5-7 hours ago I decided to liquidate some coins and reinvest. I decided to buy zet @ 1300, 1400 in small amounts incrementally for about an hour straight.. just for long term investment since it is a cheap coin. There was verrry little traffic happening. For some reason people started buying A FUKin TON of zet.. I'm not saying I started anything but..... jesus christ. This was on cryptsy and the guys on coinex chat were trippin out watching the new buys.
I know nothing about this coin... maybe it is a good coin.. could be a real sleeper. unlikely.
My guess is it's hyped now and it'll decrease in price soon... I hope not... but... we will see.

6am - when I quit buying & went to sleep
2,580,347 market cap @ .016

11 am when I woke up
$ 5,323,157

Ya we all take gambles...... I actually dumped my (small) amount of ltc just before the boom, dumped at 0.009 and got 10btc back from a 30btc investment.
If i had waited an extra 48hrs i would have had my investment back and more.

Since dumping i have been playing the price swings on BTC-E with NMC PPC & LTC, over the weekend i have done pretty well and have surpassed what i would have earned just dumping my ltc at current rates.

Live and learn, we all have different gambling strategies - this is a classic example of mining and holding a none profitable coin until it gets it's 15mins of fame.

ps i have stopped dumping, i have withdrawn 7btc and an account balance of 22btc so i am very much so in the green on this gamble with 1.65mil zet left.

THANK YOU ZETA!!

edit: just to add i took a massive gamble with zeta as i thought it was undervalued and i still do, I mined using miners which i was never going to ROI on so i took a gamble by investing 25btc of my mining time into zeta which i saw go as low as a valaue of 6btc i think, so i am very happy to see zeta rise from the ashes.

I am not an expert on merge-mining, but this is something that could be considered for Zetacoin in the future. It might be possible to change Zetacoin to support this, I don't know, so further investigation is needed.

Discussions are welcome.

ZET is @ block 474332 at block 483840 (I hope I added right) it halves again to 15.625 coins per block right now it's at 31.25 per block at the current rate it will take under 6 days till it halves again.

I'm excited to see what happens!

Instead of whining about lack of ZET systems online I decided to build something myself Smiley
I have little experience in HTML,CSS,JS... so please don't be too hard on me.
It is just a simple lottery. Read "about" section first.

http://betzet.net/ttest/

Please PM me with comments, tips, ideas.
If you brave enough (I'm testing currently) go ahead and buy some tickets.

Note: I send ZETs to the winners manually so expect some delay.
Note2: I do not reverse-find senders address since it is against philosophy of the "network". I hope my simple solution will work fine, if you have better idea please let me know.

It would be great it you could help me with testing but please DO NOT send large amounts - just in case Wink
ALWAYS first submit form on the page, then send ZET's.

The book went blank for a few minutes then a few sells were posted at much higher prices with nothing below. A couple of the bots probably got caught before things corrected.

The downward manipulation of this coin @ cryptsy is laughable, he/they/it must be running low. Sold too much at the bottom would be my guess.

Both transaction were yours (5 and 100) - same receiving address, is that right?
