Well not to smash any dreams but that is actually FrontlineSMS's github, NOT M-PESA and they are just updating their software to integrate with m-pesa. But it is still interesting that the github hadn't been updated in months and gets an update the exact same time Konen tweets he is hard at work in Kenya, perhaps the deal is with them and not m-pesa? The prototype version of Payments, PaymentView, has already been tested by ten organizations in Kenya. It reduced payment processing times for a small savings collective by 85 percent, and increased average client savings by 50 percent. Yeah, if the deal is with FrontlineSMS, it will be very cool and POTENTIALLY revolutionary with lots of luck and rapid growth. Would still be a reason to hold zeta and work to promote it. I think people would see it as a mixed disappointment though, if it's anything less than a direct deal with safaricom. It would be smart for devs to set expectations carefully so their greatest triumph to date doesn't end up looking like a defeat. I will be happy with anything that moves this crypto closer to real world use and expands access for the unbanked, but only a big, direct MPesa deal would be earth shattering in most peoples eyes. |

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

1- M-Pesa has recently changed the base code to include decimal places (crypto currency) and text advertising (cryptr.ch) https://github.com/FrontlineSMS-Credit/payment-service-safaricom-mpesa-ke2- Zetacoin Team contacted @jacassano Senior writer @FastCompany (1 million users) to cover the story and confirm the whole story without breaking NDA agreements with the third party (aka M-Pesa). Why would you do that if it was not true? 3- Insider info that I can't relay, but if the reasons above are not enough...well, none are. it's good good new, |
