There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Work continues on zetacoin, despite what many claim. Nobody has disappeared.

Hold strong or sell and move onto another coin. Those who hold will be happy they did.

Rest assured that there is more to zetacoin than just one upcoming announcement.

I am.

Projects continue regardless of what you may read on twitter. Most of those tweeting against zetacoin have no insight into the teams behind the coin.

It would be more reassuring for investors if these 'teams behind the coin' were more vocal about what's being worked on opposed to letting random speculation and intentionally malicious (price manipulative) rumours dominate.

Indeed it would be more reassuring ... but we should also see it from their perspective. It's not a good idea in some cases to release news until things are 100%.

Unfortunately a lot of devs prefer to work privately, many in crypto remain anonymous and particularly harsh twitter 'troll' conduct has pushed some zetacoiners to stay active in our Slack team or forums but refrain from using Twitter where most get their crypto information/communication.

As for projects, there are a number that are private and not for public consumption at this time but others have already been shared/seen publicly on forums and twitter.Hive wallet integration is being worked on - A new zetacoin block explorer is almost completed which will give users better access to up to date transfer information and merchant utility. Coinplorer and others tend not to be fully up to date.

A tipbot is also under progress whilst several sites have already been created (zet.io/zetacoin.com) including a soft launched zetacoin merchandise site (which accepts zetacoin payments for goods). Several exchanges have recently added zetacoin to their trade platforms and several others are considering it for addition.

The devs haven't disappeared, the community hasn't gone anywhere, the coin isn't dying and your faith in this particular cryptocurrency will pay off.

John, Yes I think so to the 1MB question. Some reading on topic - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=140233.msg1492537#msg1492537

Anybody knows what is the block size limit for Zetacoin? Is it 1MB like bitcoin?

struct CBlockIndexWorkComparator;

/** The maximum allowed size for a serialized block, in bytes (network rule) */
static const unsigned int MAX_BLOCK_SIZE = 1000000;
/** The maximum size for mined blocks */
static const unsigned int MAX_BLOCK_SIZE_GEN = MAX_BLOCK_SIZE/2;
/** The maximum size for transactions we're willing to relay/mine */
static const unsigned int MAX_STANDARD_TX_SIZE = MAX_BLOCK_SIZE_GEN/5;
/** The maximum allowed number of signature check operations in a block (network rule) */
static const unsigned int MAX_BLOCK_SIGOPS = MAX_BLOCK_SIZE/50;
/** The maximum number of orphan transactions kept in memory */
static const unsigned int MAX_ORPHAN_TRANSACTIONS = MAX_BLOCK_SIZE/100;
/** The maximum size of a blk?Huh?.dat file (since 0.Cool */
static const unsigned int MAX_BLOCKFILE_SIZE = 0x8000000; // 128 MiB
/** The pre-allocation chunk size for blk?Huh?.dat files (since 0.Cool */

I'm here to say that Twitter is the worst environment for people who contribute to a Coin.
It's very simple - many people are *******  plain and simple and we won't listen to them anymore.
And I don't see the advantage for us telling people about projects in detail - Why? Because If they come, they come. Easy as that!

In addition Zetacoin is no company - Think of it as a group of people who grew fond to the Coin and to each other, trying to have fun and contribute to various projects.

Yes, I care about the price, but guess what all Coins are still in Test-mode, so is finding the right price for a coin and everything else around a Coin This is far from the "Final Version"
It's no Stock you can do projections with, not many fundamentals at all, the Altcoin market is lower than Venture Capital Firms - Compare it with OTC Pinksheets marked with "No Information" or "Caveat Emptor"

If people don't understand the risk at all, dont want to contribute or trashing day long    L-E-A-V-E

I consider myself a good and straight forward person - I wont listen to a bunch of people I don't know anymore, because it gets you down from time to time.

To all my Zetacoin fellas on Slack, Twitter, FB, Skype  Wink Keep on Zetting.
