Zetacoin.cc and zetachain.cc are down, please fix Smiley

I don't think zetachain.cc was ever 'finished', but this one works really well:
http://www.zetachain.info/

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

You would mine this the same way you mine Bitcoin.  SGminer I think is only for X11 coins, you need to use BFGminer or CGMiner.   What hardware are you looking to mine with?

Example:

Code:
    cgminer.exe -o stratum+tcp://zetacoin.securepayment.cc:27334 -u WALLET_ADDRESS -p ANYTHING
    bfgminer.exe -o stratum+tcp://zetacoin.securepayment.cc:27334 -u WALLET_ADDRESS -p ANYTHING

sgminer mines lots of different algos,,, i'm just surprised if it will not mine SHA256.
I'll look in to it more

I have r9 290's to mine with

cheers

If you want to mine SHA256 coins with SGMiner I think that you would need to use the psw kernel

psw - Pavel Semjanov optimised kernel, SHA256 speedups.

Please don't waste your time/power/money/etc. mining SHA256 with an R9. It's pointless.
