The currency of your future. We will use the crypto money in more places in the future. For now, we only use it in the crypto stock market.
Digital money is one of the world's most popular topics. In the future we will be able to make many payments using digital money.

Nothing will happen in the top 2 posts in the next couple of years. Bitcoin will remain to be the number one coin and then followed by Ethereum. Dash has to reach the top 5 first before getting to the top 2. For now, Dash is even outside the top 10. I think Bitcoin will remain to be the top of the ranking for the next 10 years. After that, we will see which altcoin has the most potential.

Another strong evidence that electronic money will become a payment trend in the future is that most of the major banks around the world are interested in testing the implementation of electronic money transactions. Ensure long-term competition.

I am still very optimistic about the Bitcoin's future. I understand that we had a rough start this year but hey, we are all passed that stage, we are now slowly but surely getting back on track. The community is still growing, we have more and more countries who are open and willing to adapt to Bitcoin and its technology, so it is a great path we are taking. For those who are saying that Bitcoin will be replace by an alt coin, well I don't think so... at least not for the next few years. They still have a lot of things to prove to the people before they can beat Bitcoin in its arena. Smiley

I predict the future of Bitcoin will be like a real coin king all over the World. Everyone will know and use Bitcoin for their daily life or for long-term investment assets. The future of Bitcoin will be the future also for all of us. Because in the future we will all rely on technology and technology that can develop into the future of blockchain technology. I think if Bitcoin from year to year is always growing, it can all happen.

Some banks claim that bitcoin is not the answer to a cashless society. What do you guys think?
Going cashless is the future, right?
Of course isn't the answer. The bitcoin is an alternative way which in difference from usual virtual money it is impossible to create infinite number.

I think bitcoin in the future is still bitcoin as a digital currency and continue to be a volatile as what it is now, although there are many digital currency that invented every day, months or year, but bitcoin is still the number one useful of them all.

It seems that we are stuck in a new corridor for a long time from 8.2 to 8.8 thousand dollars. And the ratio of "bulls" and "bears" is in the ratio of 49:51. With such ratios, you can expect any dynamics, and in the near future, price records will not have to wait

The future has jumped a new era. Crypto money!
The crypto money went into our lives and began to make money. With the Blockchain system, the crypto world was incredibly evaluated.
In the following years, we can use crypto money in many places. The Blockchain system will also start as an infrastructure in many places.

I read a news that: "The anonymity offered by Bitcoin will surely make it a point of attraction for the business owners and individuals. Basically, Bitcoins are lines of computerized codes that are signed digitally every time they shift from one owner to the next. This entire process makes it impossible for the hackers to decode the code and obtain information as well as discover the transaction records. Certainly it will pose a challenge to the financial regulators to prevent the misuse of the anonymity that Bitcoins offer." I think this prediction maybe come true.

So Bitcoin's market dominance in the cryptocurrency world is currently at the lowest level ever with 36.1% of the total value.

In my opinion, it's because the interest in alternative coins is rising rapidly for one, but you also have to consider how much of the bitcoin world is criminal. Seriously, for the first 5-8 years, the digital currency was mainly used as a means for criminals to launder money and sell illegal goods on the dark market. Think of all the massive hacks in the early days also, and all those darknet markets that disappeared with huge amounts of bitcoin.

Literally millions and millions of the 16 million coins out there would be owned by criminals. And now with bitcoin becoming more centralized and less anonymous, they are swiftly exiting the market and looking for alternative dark coins.

I also personally avoid using bitcoin all-together because of the extremely slow transaction speeds and high cost's associated with it.

The bitcoin mining business is dust, so that interest will die quickly.

I just don't see a very bright future for the god of cryptocurrency and it will surely be surpassed by one of its rivals soon enough.

I'm torn between predicting it to be Dash, or Ethereum, and I recon it could be about 2 years before that happens.

Would love to know peoples thoughts on the future of bitcoin.

Where will bitcoin be in

2 weeks?
2 months?
2 years?

Will it be surpassed by another coin? If so, which one and when?

I think what you said is already happening. Bitcoin is being dominated by alternative coins, but since it is in the highest value, bitcoin is still on top. We can't avoid the fact that it is used by criminals and scammers; let's just hope that we will find a solution to stop these illegal businesses.

I believe one reason bitcoin fall now may be due to the Christmas vacation and en cashed and spent . And another point is since transaction  fees are higher  and mining also not so easy ,people looking on the alt coin option.it is the virtual currency thet it has a lightning future.porise is so valuable and users of it are also in huge number. bitcoin is the future of money. we can hope thet bitcoin will reach on better position in future.

Lighting network, faster transactions, lower fees, increased adoption, more media coverage, a bunch of new easy to use exchanges, Samsung ASICs production resulting in more competition and cheaper mining equipment, regulation potentially resulting in more institutional money... Looks great.

I'm fairly confident in the price going up depending on adoption rates, this drop is a short term thing in my opinion.

There is a huge amount of wall street money being allocated this year for crypto. They know the long term ultimate value proposition for bitcoin is way above the marketcap of gold which puts the bitcoin price floor long term at $330,000 or $1,000,000.

Remember right this minute millions of new dollars are pouring into bitcoin just like every single day.

The price right now is simply being affected by the few stupid people who borrowed to buy and now have to sell. Once those are flushed out the price will recover.

If you look at the order books you can tell by the slope of the ask and offer curves that far more people are interested in buying than selling at this and any price point near this.

For that reason I think this slump will not last long... Weeks or months at most is my guess.

Here is the fact. If you look at the multi year historical bitcoin price graph past pullbacks after publicity peaks have ended you can pick those points as the absolute best times to buy bitcoin to really change your life. Anyone who is smart is taking advantage of the lower prices to buy what they can now and I think those wall street funds really recognize that so this slump wont last long.

bitcoin for sure will be used more often within the market in the near future. Most of the transaction will be cashless and bitcoin will definitely take its place.

Bitcoin, Bitcoin everywhere. Smiley I'm definitely looking forward to this. :
