I ran 1.6 independently except that I copied the blocks and settings files from the old 1.4.3.0 wallet. I added my private key from the console and everything seems to by connected and the wallet is synced but not funds. I tried the -rescan and added rescan=1 to the .conf file but nothing was working. I had to import the old wallet from a backup and it started rescanning once I started the wallet.
I think in order to use importprivkey in the console, specific steps must be followed in sequence so that the blocks will be scanned on startup else it won't work.

Those are fantastic news, the whole market had been dipping further everyday and finally today nearly everything is green again. I hope this makes the FUD go away for some time and put DeepOnion where it should be, among the top 10 altcoins! |
