I'm not sure why you want to sell alts but i won't do it in your place. Alts are good alternative to bitcoin what more sometimes if project you invest into will turn to be good you can profit on it a lot. So i think it's better to hold some alts otherwise when price of bitcoin will fall you will still have some hope that your coins will survive.

 must keep hold all alts, if btc rise alt also rise to see in the last year market was like this and I didn't sell my altcoins and later I earned nice profit maybe you must try.

Bitcoin price is $9000 plus,so there is a big possibility of reaching $20000 for one bitcoin and maybe by july of this year, but you must consider also ethereum because ETH price is around $600 to $700, this altcoin is also moving past and it's very promising, since it growing up high, so I suggest to hold BTC and ETH. |

Sell some. Invest in bitcoin and altcoins. That's a good way to avoid losing too much if you lose a coin. And you will get a very good profit if you invest in both. There is currently no sign that both bitcoin and altcoins will go up. But we have to be patient until the hike becomes a reality . |

For me, holding is very important, i don't want to sell my altcoins when the market is not that good because i believe that i will be earning more if i hold it for long.

That's a choice you have to make in the long run as you are the one who decides your investment structure. but i don't thing if its necessary to sell al the alts to buy BTC, this will be risking all in one, which isn't such a good idea.

If you are in for a quick profit why not? But you are in for the big payoff then you may opt to wait a little bit longer before you can get your massive profits off your investments. Just be sure you really know what you are doing.

If the alt bleeds just hold them or you will lose a lot,if its bull run go with the flow.
If you think it's good decision to you to sell all your alts then why not? It's in your own decision to make. If you can see the price at the market cap altcoins dominates the market right now and it is good to sell and buy altcoins again when it goes down. |

My coin/token I hold are altcoin. I am have bitcoin but not much because its my save to buying other altcoin when the price drop. Some altcoin have good project and some have already product. Its true we should carefull before choosing altcoin but not altcoin bad investment but doing research before picking altcoin as our investment

If BTC price increase or reached 20k its the same thing that will happened with altcoins . It's up to you if you feel the altcoins that you hold won't increase then just stay with BTC . |

I think btc will be that high again. But you need not to sell all you alts. You can split you money to make more profit. |

Maybe it will reach because someone in the forum always tell about that bitcoin will be reach in $20000 and it will be happen just sell your alts and buy some bitcoin. But we know we a different decision about that so jut try on it maybe you can earn some profit from that. |

If you have Bitcoin i recommend that you hold it no matter what. It doesn't matter if you bought 1 year ago or when Bitcoin first appeared. Holding Bitcoin will make you profit either way.
As regards Altcoins, i recommend holding or trading the ones that are active, and ones that you see are showing good progress, like Ethereum, Ripple, Cardano or Stellar. Even coins like Tron and Monero have potential but you must do your due diligence.
