Ethereum is a little slow than many other crypto coins that comes in its league., though it has remained at the top of altcoins from the start and the biggest rival of bitcoin, still it is nowhere near to growing that much. Ethereum is a trustworthy coin but not fast at all. It will take a lot of time before touching 2k dollars. But this is for sure that Ethereum can not only touch this amount but go beyond it also.

Day traders also affect a lot and yet the current situation isn't accurately match as what people been predicting of. However eth price will remain that stable until it reach at $1k for the next few weeks of roller coaster behaviour as part of the volatility.

Whenever the price of the bitcoin rise, it followed by ethereum price uptrend. Ethereum price should go up independently from bitcoin so it can be able to achieve its own all-time highs in the future.

Maybe it could happen or maybe not. Etherium has not reach its peek now however Etherium price is more than 1k USD so I think it should be around 2k USD before 2018 ends. It's not impossible to happen because Etherium is the ranked 2 coins before BTC. We should just a little longer to find out.
