Hi, i have backupped my pvkeys on an usb stick. I wrote it also down on a piece of paper. My computer broke. I put a metal pin through the harddrives. I will not buy a new pc soon. So i wont check in on myetherwallet for some time. I cant click on phishing links. My question is : are my funds safe? Can myetherwallet get hacked? Can my funds dissapear even when i have no computer, hid my keys? Im to stupid to work with a ledger or trezor. Can something happen to it like with the parity/kill?
I don't think anything will happen to your assets. But of course it is better to keep funds on hardware wallets, it is now the most reliable way! For example on ledger or trezor.

MEW is basically an interface. It's not a service with servers where hackers and get into and steal funds. The only thing it does is showing you the state of the current addresses in the blockchain, whether a specific address has coins or not. It can't be hacked.

If you no longer access your MEW from any device, then in theory no one will be able to steal your private key and crack the wallet. I think your money will be safe. If you are in doubt, then buy yourself a hardware purse-Ledger or trezor. Then you can not worry at all, your money will be exactly safe.

If you do everything that the author of the topic listed, the only thing that can happen is the hacking of the MEW database itself, but I do not think it's possible at all. Why? Well, if only because if it could be done, it would have been done long ago and more than once and believe me no one would have used MEW anymore. So I think that your funds are safe until you do something wrong.

MEW is a decentralized platform, its just a medium for use to use the blockchain technology easily,no one owns myetherwallet and if the hacker hacked mew thats the end of all the cryptocurrency because its not possible to hack myetherwallet without hacking blockchain's technology.

On April 23, users of MyEtherWallet saw an unsigned SSL certificate, which is an incomplete link displayed on the verification of the website. Netizens often click on the link without thinking about it. But anyone who clicks on this certificate warning is redirected to the Russian server, and the server will begin to empty the user's wallet. Wallets are risky, and hardware wallets are undoubtedly the safest but most inconvenient.

Yes, its possible for myetherwallet to get hacked. But in your case that you hid all your credentials like private key it is safe. As long as you visit the original site of myetherwallet and not the phishing site. Once you access myetherwallet online, make sure there is a green locked key and it says secure. If its red or not secure, better not to input your private key.

It can get hacked if you do not properly protect your wallet and if you do not keep the passwords which you used to open it safe and also your private key safe because once someone gets their hands on your private key, then that is it, they can get into your wallet and take off with all of your coins and you wouldn't know about it and there is no way to get stolen coins back.

Of course I think that it can be hacked, but I keep my tokens on this purse. I consider him the safest purse. Just need to adhere to security rules and then there will be less likelihood that it will be hacked.

The problem with cryptocurrency theft has to do with human mistakes. Most platform try as much as possible to have a secure platform but people still make mistakes.

As long as you dont post your private keys anywhere then you will always be safe. It is like your seeds which are already on the ETH blockchain. So there is nothing to worry about. Just be careful if you will try to let someone fix your computer (if you ever think about it again) They could somehow reincarnate the buried links or anything in your hard drive.
Of course it will hacked if our private key will save on the SUB and then we don't know our USB will lost. To prevent myetherwallet safe we put our private key in a hard wallet thàt are far from children.

All right. Therefore, it is recommended to use hardware wallets, such as Ledger and Tesor. It is necessary to approach responsibly.

Unless your computer is poisoned or you are caught in a phishing website, otherwise I think myetherwallet is very safe.Another possibility is that you accidentally leaked your private key.

every wallet has the big chance to be hack by hackers,so we need to be extra careful where we had to sign in and put or save our private keys. we are responsible of our own action so if you don't want to be attack by hackers write your private keys in a notebook or like what you had said save it in the usb.extra careful always.

Basicly, Mew can't get hacked because all the fund are showed on Ethereum blockchain. So the only way yours fund disappear is that someone have yours private key or usb. For more sercue, store yours fund in trezor.

While there are no hackers who could do this, it is clear that if you have a huge desire, you can hack all that you want. But I think for the time being that I hack the MEW, very few people can. So do not worry.

Due to its structure, even in case of hackers attack, nobody con access your private key. So you don't have to worry. Best take care of your data access.

as practice has already shown this is possible, but it is not entirely possible, because only dns servers were replaced, so if you say objectively, the service itself was not hacked, it was the DNS server that was hacked.
