Yes they can get hacked, but the thing about it is. It's only people that log into myetherwallet at that time that will be affected, because myetherwallet those not have your private key. So to be on the safe side use paper wallet or hardware wallet.

If you do everything that the author of the topic listed, the only thing that can happen is the hacking of the MEW database itself, but I do not think it's possible at all. Why? Well, if only because if it could be done, it would have been done long ago and more than once and believe me no one would have used MEW anymore.
Agree, if it could be hacked then no one is using it right now. I believe that MEW is safe for hackers because it is widely used by users in the crypto community and the only problem it had when there is phishing site similar to MEW but it can't be considered hacking.

Mostly users MEW is hacked via a phishing attack since you won't be using PC to login into your MEW so your funds are absolutely safe even if you don't have the computer as your funds are not stored in your PC, they are stored in the blockchain. As you have backed up your private keys just keep them safe, only your funds will be stolen if by mistake your private keys are leaked into wrong hands.

I'm pretty sure that it's impossible to crack a Mayweather. The only way with which help hackers can get your money is your mistake, so you should be more careful!

yes there's a possibility that your etherwallet is packaged because it's a platform but it's just a small chance to hack it because security is strong in private keys and if you have a doubt, you can see it in etherscan.io so you can see if it's still there your coins or tokens.

For me it depends upon your care. Because for me myetherwallet has a strongest security among the wallets that I've known. But I can say all is possible to happen.

It would never hack as long as you didn't give any single details about the private key that you have trezor wallet is very safe and I'm using and never experience hacking on this device.

Hackers always finds a way to hack things even those you think that is hard to hack. A lot of news have been spreading with their MEW getting hack but I think it is more on user error and not the system itself. I have been using MEW for quite sometime now and I haven't came across with any issues or incidents at all. If you are cautious and pretty careful with all you private keys of your wallet then I think you have a little to no chance of getting hack at all.

Hacking will only happen when we are too careless on our information. Phishing sites were the only way our MEW wallet will be hacked or instances of putting private keys on form whenever registered in some campaigns. Always be careful

Technology is what rules the world today, its quite funny how it has caused some harm and to others good. i just feel no wallet is 100 percent safe because there are smart IT inclined people everywhere, just pray not to be a victim. some one can be somewhere monitoring whatever you do with your PC. lets just be security conscious and keep our Private keys safe.

Well, the wallets that are built by MyEtherWallet is not going to have that many people interested in it if it does ever get hacked. If it does get hacked then consider it an inside job.

Always be careful on recording your details and information, hackers will grab every possible possibility that it can get to be able to earn, phising site, forms and ads can be their way so better , read and research throughly in all circumstances, bookmark and making your own locked folders will help.

Probably yes it is possible to hack the myetherwallet this is proven by me, to prevent the hackers don't save your private key to your computer I suggest using the keystore/json File this is trusted.

Anything can be hacked, nothing is 100% safe, most time users complain of hacking, it is usually a case of phishing not hacking, do not save your private key online have hardcopy of your private key.

We what I really think about this is that as long as you can store and keep your private keys and all other sensitive information then you should be alright. Better be always safe than sorry. So be safe pal and you will be alright.
