Now that governments have a competitor in terms of currencies, do you think that they will make an effort to make the economic system more transparent or will they just try to ban everything?
Why would they? It is impossible, and corruption will always be in here as long as the government start using smart contracts (and this is impossible of course) Maybe it will change in a few decades, but not for now.

It still depends whether bitcoin will fall under the governement's hands or not. And whether the government will use it properly or not. Just saying the possible things since bitcoin in the present is quite impressive. Bitcoin is just a crypto currency and most of the people are buying it as they are taking it as a very valuable asset which can help them in making of some handsome amount of money in less time as the market value of bitcoin increases very much significantly, thus brining more money in the pockets of the investors and holders of bitcoin. It has nothing to do with reduction of corruption andcan’t do anything in that case. No doubt that bitcoin is a valuable assets, specially for those people who know the importance of bitcoin. Bitcoin is the new emerging crypto currency which is in fact changing the word. As a currency i do not think that it can reduce or help in reducing corruption, but it can at least increase the fear income of the people through giving job opportunities to people or giving trading and investment opportunities to traders and investors. I see it in a similar way. A currency that is based on anonymity of the involved parties will not be very benificial when it comes to preventing corruption. But ther are many things people can use when it comes to forms of payment in currupt businesses. Cash, gold, the list is very long. In general I would say that a huge number of people profit legally from bitcoin. Against them stands only a very small number of people who would do illegal activities with it.

About corruption I think that some of politics had moved their extra profits into crypto currencies already to cover it from ordinary people's eyes. Some countries had shown their position to bitcoin already, like 10 countries banned bitcoin and there stay a lot of which did not decide yet. I think there is no chance for making the economic system transparent, the government just makes an illusion that it is so, but let's be realists, they are just making fools from each of us.

Bitcoin is already suffering through the war between currency and government. It's true that government system has corruption in them because they cannot properly satisfy everyone's need so people go on the bad side. Bitcoin provides more help and every individual has the power to control their money, they can use it in whatever reason they want hence it is also being used on the black markets it has no restrictions so it is more dependent on people than government. If used wisely it can reduce corruption to zero.

Take into account the fact that the crypto currency is anonymous enough means with which you can pay bribes and not be caught, and therefore not be punished. Apparently for criminal purposes, the crypto currency has long been used.

100% transparency = 0% corruption, and 0%transparency = 100% corruption. So now its up to government and us how we are going to use crypto.

Corruption will not end as long as there are officials that are taking advantage form the people. They will just adapt to it and they will just continue with what they are doing. Also, any civilization has corrupt official within their ranks it has been written in history.

I agree that bitcoin as such is very difficult or perhaps impossible to ban, but the value of bitcoin relays on the ability to make transactions and convert it into other coins or even fiat. If exchanges are banned and citizens are not legally entitled to use it, the utility drops.

Unit unless every individual persons decide not to give bribe to anyone for anything for sure not only bitcoin all other currencies also give chance to prove that corruption can be reduced even completely can be finished. But it is not possible in this world as everybody wants their work to be done immediately without any hassles which is the cause root of all corruption so we should not expect through bitcoin we can reduce corruption.

Being it any form whether cash, btc or any other way till the time giver or taker does not get involved in it it could be stopped because if giver is not ready to bribe taker may not have much option and vice versa. So ideally if it is the need which needs to get it done then may be bribe comes in place or else if every one start following the principle then corruption may get reduce though may not exactly be eradicated.

Because of the publicity of bitcoin and without centralization then i think that the bitcoin has its possibility to reduce the corruption because we can easily look up the address of the people who want to use bitcoin as a mode or way of transferring money. So i am in favor that bitcoin can 'easily' reduce the corruption up to 70%.

Yes maybe it can affect the possibility to reduce the corruption bitcoin in the country, "transferring money"? i think that's the reason why some countries banning bitcoin by their place because bitcoin has a big opportunity to abused by user by doing criminal activities like buying drugs and illegal deadly weapons or some big people who are politicians hiding their money in bitcoin. And hopefully these will not happened in near future besides bitcoin now are regulated some banks in the country as a mode of payment and some are opposed with bitcoin. Like South Korea, China and Indonisia. '

Just because it is a decentralized community do you think you can escape this illness of the society? Of course no, given the fact that scamming were spread all over this platform dont expect too much you might be disappointed even in this platform , scammers and hackers still exists, and we should all avoid those kind of people.

Not exactly bitcoin but blockchain would help fight corruption. For example, social funds from the government can be distributed via blockchain, making it harder for corrupt social workers to pocket some of the money for themselves coz everything would be accounted for and the record is transparent. Same goes for every funding needs.
With regards to bitcoins, it's becoming harder and harder to evade tax using it but if it becomes widespread enough and overcomes its technical problems, then it might spur a change for a simpler tax system.

I do not think it would add a trigger for corruption if bitcoin prices are expected to increase. That's human greed.

In my opinion, bitcoin can neither reduce nor promote corruption or any other illegal activity anywhere in the world. Bitcoin itself can’t do anything. It is the one who is having bitcoin in his wallet who will make this decision of what to do with that bitcoin which he is having. If he is going to use that in any kind of illegal activity, bitcoin itself will be unable to do anything good or bad.

Well maybe if it is used in a good way. Bitcoin is a decentralized currency means that its is kinda immune to inflation. Because there is no third party controlling it. Banning bitcoin won't help I guess. The problem isnt with bitcoin it's simply with people. So corruption isn't because of bitcoin. Corrupt people will find another way even if BC doesn't exist.
I think bitcoin cannot reduce the corruption in the world , bitcoin is not related to that topic it on the handa on government and corrupted people in the world .
