Maybe. Since it is anonymous and decentralized so transactions are anonymous too. They may trace it through blockchains but i doubt they will be able to link it to the real person who did the transaction unless KYC is implemented or if there will be new regulations in bitcoin.

I dont think so. Its not the fact that you use bitcoin or other cryptocurrencie or you use fiat currencie. I think greed has more to do with it

Now that governments have a competitor in terms of currencies, do you think that they will make an effort to make the economic system more transparent or will they just try to ban everything?
It is really impossible to say whether the revolution made by crypto currency would make any significant changes in any countries economic or political system or it can any way reduce corruption, how do you think that it can reduce corruption,i really do not understand the logic here,i am hearing this opinion of less corruption with the introduction of digital money, the only way to stop corruption is to stop handing out money as favors when you need something and everyone has to step in,which is impossible.

Well I dont think that bitcoin itself can reduce corruption. Peoples action are nothing to do with bitcoin, that was their own desicion to do bad things. We cannot blame people because as many political not doing well their work, many will not trust them and they will not be voted again.Government leader should be the first good example to us.We want to live transparrently bvut we cannot manipulate them if they are corrupt and vice versa they cannot control our decision also. Bitcoin cannot reduce corruption but atlease it can reduce poverty if government will give support to this new way of earning money.

Definetly and i hope so,that bitcoins will become the solution to reduce the corruption in plundering money especially in the government and private sector,if the bitcoin become legalize, and if all this things happen maybe corruption will minimize because the currency will become digital. There is no assurance if it can reduce corruption. Though for now it is very safe to use bitcoin but time comes their will be hackers who will study how to get those money. Maybe government will allow bitcoin if in every payment or transactions they have share or part of it.

No!.. I don't think so, bitcoin alone cannot guarantee to reduce corruption, because people has no satisfaction their greed push them to do more than they could, to get more than they have, if only they will use whatever profit they will get in bitcoin to good things it is much better, somehow it reduce unemployment, it help people who ha no stable job and earn a living for their family and this I hope will happen, we know how dirty politics is, and how government want the best things out of it and beside how can they...its decentralized they will not easily control it.Corruption is always there its up to the person if he wants to become slave of it.

Bitcoin will not reduce corruption. If we see the percentage of users in bitcoin, not even half nor 1/4 of the world's population. Meaning, governments are not affected with the presence of bitcoin. If however, bitcoin will become a competition to the government, then they will still do regulations for bitcoin to collect more tax and money from the people using bitcoin.

I think bitcoin will not be able to reduce bitcoin, but if the system used in bitcoin can reduce corruption because every transaction can be monitored by ledger book so everything can be monitored transparently

Not literally the bitcoin but the Blockchain itself will make the government transparent, if only the government use it as the allocation of funds thru this transactions as well as the salary of the officials, we can see it by ourselves where the countries money goes thru transaction hash.

seems unlikely because if you know bitcoin does not have a bitcoin address ownership name you do not know who the owner of the bitcoin is, then the possibility of bitcoin can still be used for corruption.

All the transactions in bitcoin can be traced the most important is the honesty of the government and officials, but otherwise bitcoin can be a heaven for corruptors because they think that the safe way to save money is bitcoin as long as they do not tell their wallet address.

I do not think whether bitcoin reduces corruption or adds new prospective corruption candidate, the edge of all new additions will be added. man will not be satisfied with what he has until he picks up another right. so you have to use bitcoin properly to keep it away from the clutter of the suits wearer and the owner of a high position.

seems unlikely because if you know bitcoin does not have a bitcoin address ownership name you do not know who the owner of the bitcoin is, then the possibility of bitcoin can still be used for corruption. If the corruptors know information about bitcoin development then I'm sure that they will put most of the money on bitcoin, anonymous features make that anyone free to use bitcoin without having to know the owner, and this is certainly the best place to save money from corruption, so bitcoin will not reduce corruption.

Corruption can happen in all forms and not only through Bitcoin or currency. Corruption is a form of disease which would start in a small part of the body and spread all over and also spread to others. Major corruption happens in the form of currency, property, gifts etc and Bitcoin also would be a way or mode of payment for corruption.
If corrupted person stops doing so would stop rather than governments or institutions ban or lay different set of stringent rules. Answering to the question specifically, yes Bitcoin could reduce corruption since the block chain technology has a trace of who, when, how much transaction happened in an exchange. This way the transactions are monitored and retrieved for verification or investigation which would reduce corruption due to the transparency.

Well, I'm not sure if Bitcoin would reduce corruption, because this bad process in economy depend on the people, if the people who manipulate or use bitcoin for transaction is a good leader then it reduce corruption, but if the leader is selfish then it might become more worst, in short bitcoin can help in economy especially in transactions , but it depends on the people who use it.

Well, it is hard to control corruption in our life because corrupt people will always find a way just for them to corrupt and it is hard for us to see and learn how they do it. So don't mind them for as long as we as an ordinary people is doing right in our country.

Well, this can really go either way. It will entirely depend on how people will deal with the situation. Say for example, a lot of people do get rich because of crypto currency, they have the option to keep a low profile or be showboats. The former, would reduce corruption as they won't be targets to corrupt officials or governments aiming to milk the BTC market or simply ban it since it's a legitimate competition. The latter, well they would be targets and they'll have corruption creeping up on them even as they sleep. The safe route? Keep a low profile and still enjoy life.
