The funniest part of this is that the manager are not asking for it when announcing the campaign and the efforts of participants becomes futile.
Yes of course and it looks like latent scam.
It is like a disappoint one's expectations but it's worse. It is seriously like usual scam we can see when our funds steal after ICO

I used to have the intention of joining the campaign but unfortunately I did not have enough level to participate. But after a while I watched that camplain is not transparent and so I feel lucky to not participate in that project. I think there should be publicity and clarity in bounty campaigns so that participants can know the results of their work.

Ok if an ICO wants to make KYC procedure for all investors and the tokens owners even bountists there is no problem -

And there is simple way  in order to avoid all equivocality  - pay to bountists in BTC Smiley

In this case bountists are not the ICO tokens owners and this is the reason to avoid KYC.

I don't mind as long as there will be no issue regarding kyc since we are giving our personal document and most of the time they ask passport which is a vital information to an individual, but well if this what makes an ICO good and verify that is legit i don't mind at all Smiley

Bounty programs are asking bounty hunters to do KYC before they are paid for work done . What do you think of this development.

Which bounty programs are doing that? Bounty hunters would just have to boycott their campaigns and I tell you that they would stop with this intrusion in people's privacy, or run a campaign that nobody would join.

This is one way for the bounty managers to prevent multiple accounts owned by the same person joining in the campaign. So I, myself, am willing to do KYC processes. I just would want it to be announced as soon as the campaign starts so it will make the distribution faster than doing KYC after the campaign.

The worst thing is that bounty participants didn't know that KYC is mandatory when they participating campaign . Usually devs tell this right after the campaigns ends. For me it's looks like a some kind of scam , because a lot of participants will pass KYC and thus will not get paid for their work . Is there a way to stop it ?

Yeah, i felt the same too.
After the campaign is finished, they request KYC verification from us.
I used to think that this is not a big problem, now i'm wondering, is that really dangerous for us?

The bounty would be dangerous now because of that KYC if those information would be used on illegal and we are done. Its not good to use KYC since we are on internet. we cant give our information just like that. we are doing bounty for the sake of project to be done not to give our information anonymously. I hope it would be stop since it is not good for those bounty hunters.

I think KYC for bounty hunters should not be in mandatory application because KYC is usually the requested passport. Not everyone has a passport including me personally. And it's too hard to bounty hunters using KYC.

Its sucks, and not fair. They have to tell that rule BEFORE JOINING the bounty, not after BOUNTY ENDED. It seems they only want to reduce their payment.

As long as it does not hurt us all, I think there is no problem so far for token distribution done using KYC, maybe this is one bounty manager style because not all managers apply such a system as well as possible with KYC system to be its own value for managers to get more work and get the recommended status.

Yes, right now KYC is an additional requirement for bounty hunter like us before we got paid. For me its ok but the process of ICO's admin is taking to much time before they approve the requirement you've submit to pass the KYC. Lately I undergo the process of KYC and until now the approval is not yet done. Good idea to add KYC as requirement to be paid but the process is to long.

I think there is a bash because in this way the competition is getting tighter and it also makes the info very intellectual and trustworthy.

Demanding KYC to pass from the participants in the signature campaign is not based on any objective necessity, and therefore I take a negative attitude to this procedure. We do not have any financial relations with ICO, do not invest our funds, only advertises this campaign. Therefore, it is superfluous to require additional identification data from us, let alone copies of their identity documents. This may require investors, and not from the participants in the campaign of generosity.

I know the KYC process is a little annoying process, but you have to be aware that ICOs are in a process that is compulsory to comply with this. To break the pressure of the governments; ICOs want to say; "Hey, look at here these are our customers", in fact they are in an effort to prove themselves. First of all, you have to decide whether to share your credentials or not, while paying attention to the campaign you have entered. I guess at the end of this trend, all campaigns will ask for KYC. I would recommend that you prepare yourself for this.

for bounty programs usually do not require kyc because kyc is only for ico participants or buyers coin but if there are rules that require kyc means we must follow it

No problems in bounty managers to ask for a KYC to bounty hunters, as long as they specify that in the rules of the campaign BEFORE the people join it, and not AFTER the campaign has finished. Everybody must be given the choice to chose whether to accept known conditions or not. To change such rules after that the deal has been done is cheating. Moreover, I'd find it correct that if bounty hunters have to make public their personal identity, so should the bounty manager who is requiting that from them. It is a matter of reciprocity.

Well, most of the managers state in their bounty thread that "rules are subject to change" so they have that authority to make changes. Let's just hope that they will also consider their bounty participants' convenience when having these changes.
It is also a good idea for me that the manager will also do this process just in case he/she uses participants' identity for illegal purposes, we will have the exact name of the person to be blamed.
