I totally understand their erring on the side of caution; however, I might have an impact on the quality of submissions by bounty hunters when you mainly have non native English speaker promoting project targeted at English speakers.
It seems to me that the question is not only who is a member of the Bounty of the company. In any case, the question remains open, as the personal data of all the participants that have been registered with KYC will be used.

In principle, I do not see anything wrong with it, if this is warned immediately. However, if this is only revealed at the end, it may not be fair to some participants who are not ready for this

Bounty hunters usually get a few coins and they do not invest anything. I do not understand why they need to pass the KYC.

For me, there remains a big mystery - Why do some projects require the passage of KYC for bounty participants only after the project finishes selling tokens? Why not offer to go through this procedure before starting to participate in the bounty? I think it would be much more fair.

I think the main reason is that companies want to know that you dont have multiaccount.

Bounty programs are asking bounty hunters to do KYC before they are paid for work done . What do you think of this development.

I don't think its a bad idea but what I dislike is that most of the bounties don't include the need for bounty hunters to pass KYC when writing the bounty thread. So, a lot of bounty hunters would have work for some weeks and the bounty manager will come around to update the bounty thread that all bounty hunters must pass KYC. That's not fair at all.

Bounty hunters should not be asked for KYC, because they do not invest their money, so why they need this info?

Which bounty programs are doing that? Bounty hunters would just have to boycott their campaigns and I tell you that they would stop with this intrusion in people's privacy, or run a campaign that nobody would join.

This is certainly a good let alone actually to avoid fraud and account double running rampant. with the system of Division of the bounty may be KYC even more secure.

I treat this phenomenon negatively! Where then is the main advantage of krupto? anonymity! And if the scam project just collects data for fraudulent or criminal purposes? I try to ask the managers if there will be a KYC, and if so, I just do not participate in it

At present, the requirements and standards aimed at implementing this principle are set at the level of national legislation, I think this is right and necessary in this field.

This is their right to require confirmation of identity, the truth remains a question for what they require it.

Recently, the law on the protection of personal data began to work in Europe. General Data Protection Regulation GDPR https://gdpr-info.eu/.
It seems to me that the requirements of the companies to pass the KYC to the members of the bounty violate this law

This is certainly a big stupidity, given that the figures involved are ridiculous. In any case, I do not send my data to an unknown entity for a few pennies. Smiley

In fact, this is a way of screening out bots, which many programmers earn a lot of money on. So we can not do without KYC Sad

You're right. It's very annoying that I have to provide my personal records to some project managers for getting rewards for the award, since I can easily end up giving my personal information, such as Passport info and NID, to scammers. Nowadays there are so many ICOs, and many scammers took it as a chance to escape with millions of dollars, while if they ask the bounty hunter to continue KYC, the hunters can also get into trouble.

I just hope that our personal information will not be used in something that will harm us all. Doing KYC for bounty hunters should be done, but there should be limit regarding personal informations.

Hello Bounty Hunters!

Bithemoth

Now although we don't have an MVP available to the public yet, we do have our beta exchange almost complete. Screenshots of our exchange will be released this week. Check out our ANN thread in the meantime, which has our Bounty Program linked, we won't disappoint!

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3311741.0

At Bithemoth, we're developing an all-encompassing trading platform.

Here is what sets us apart from the existing platforms:

  • We plan to streamline signup process. Too many exchanges have created so many hoops for users to jump through in order to use their exchange
  • Our UI will be very clean. This is a main focus for our platform. Existing exchanges can be very confusing for users new to the crypto space.
  • The in-house portfolio management allows users to easily assess their investments with features such as average buy cost, current value, cumulative portfolio performance, and more.
  • It’s well known that the support systems that exchanges have setup are highly inefficient and frustrating for users. We will have dedicated systems in place to ensure users have no issues when utilizing our platform. Along with that, we’ll have multilingual support.
  • All the features we support on our platform will have a video explanation ensuring smooth trading
  • We will introduce fiat to crypto transactions and vice-versa
  • Mobile App
  • Marketplace where users can use crypto/fiat to buy products and services
  • An integrated specialized hardware wallet for users to store all their assets
  • Bithemoth payment cards – this is expected to be integrated within the first 2-3 years of operation
  • Brick and mortar locations that allow people to come in, speak with our team, learn more about the crypto space, learn how to get started with our exchange. Pretty much an educational service

Those are the main features, there are small things that I always forget about! But it’s all in our whitepaper. With a partner like ReddCoin, and the other projects we are currently in talks with regarding a partnership, you do not want to miss out on this opportunity.
