Here are some photos of the cooling fans that we are testing right now. We will post some results soon. For the quieter version of the 4U chassis we are trying to find the optimal fans. Something that is not as loud as Delta fans going at full speed and that still provides sufficient airflow.

Thanks for the detailed input about the Delta fans, Phil. I really appreciate it.
I will get some of the quieter Delta  AFB1212HHE-F00 to test them out.

I looked at your new fan photos  all are 1.05 amps to 1.4 amps

that is quite a bit lower  power then  the ones now 1.8 amps

Hopefully they do the job.

1.05 x 12 = 12.6 watts x 8 = 100.8 watts

the one now is

1.8 x 12 = 21.6 watts x 8 = 172.8 watts

this  comes to almost extra 2 kwatts a day per rig

so 60kwatts a month for 1 rig
and 600kwatts a month for 10 rigs.

Thanks for the calculations. Yes, I will have to do testing with the lower power fans and see what kind of temperatures they sustain compared to the higher power Delta fans.

So what would this rig have to offer in layman's terms? what graphics cards and what would you be able to mine? ether? and would it be profitable to build and use. Sorry, i'm new to all of this and i'm trying to gather info on mining and determine a sort of entry plan. This design looks a bit different but also more upscale than most of the boards that i have seen.

This board will make your life easier when mining. Instead of using risers that have multiple cables and failing points, this board has full 8 full size PCIe 16X slots and does not need risers. Also it has a built in intel Mobile 3855u processor that is very energy efficient. So with this motherboard you will have a more reliable and efficient mining rig.

ESC or F12 to enter bios. The only setting you might need to change is the boot device, depending on if you want to boot Linux from USB or Windows from SSD. Otherwise everything is set up and it's plug and play.

Yes, the motherboard has a Sata connector and also a power connector for sata drives. We will include it. Smiley

Ha! I told you this question was coming! I'm glad to hear the cable will be there. I may still need to fabricate some adapter for the case fans from the server PSU though.

No different to many other rigs. As long as there is good fan flow it should work fine. Also you can undervolt/underpower to help

Good news! We will include the adapter Smiley. 6 pin to 2x molex connector will be included and you can connect the fans with that.

We are getting ready to ship the new batch of boards soon. Still have some work left to get them all ready, but here's a short teaser of how the new cooler will look like.

Can you please explain why motherboard have 5x 6pin PCI adapters? Im read somewhere that only 2 are for mb power. What are other 3? I have plan running RX 580(Use 1x 8pin pcie power connector) on it and need to know if I need 10 6/8 pin connectors or 13 ...

Sure. The motherboard has 5 X 6pin connectors but with most GPUs only 2X 6PIN connectors need to be connected, the rest of the 6PIN connectors go directly to the GPUs from the PSU. You only need to connect all the 5 x 6PIN connectors to the motherboard when you are using cards like GTX 1050 or some other GPUs that don't have 6PIN power connectors on them and draw all the power from the motherboard.  So with a PSU that has 10 X 6PIN connectors, you can power the motherboard and all 8 GPUs.
