I've installed the RAM, plugged in 2 PCI-E cables as per the quick start guide but then turning the PSU on does not power on the board.

OK. Please contact us through our website Live Support chat and we will help you get your board up and running.
I have tried 2 other boards with 2 different PSUs and none of them is able to power on.
Turns out I needed to plug a dummy plug/jumper into the 24 pin which wasn't mentioned anywhere.

Glad to hear you got the problem sorted out.
We actually included "ATX JUMPER PIN" adapters with all the ATX PSUs so our clients do not have to make their own jumpers. Unfortunately for the first few orders our shipping agent forgot to include those. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

The next problem I'm facing is setting the primary VGA from internal to PCI. Quick start guide says "under graphics configuration "Primary Display" mush be set to PCI" but I can not find that BIOS setting anywhere.

OK, no problem. I added some pictures, please check over these settings in BIOS:

Well I just made my first purchase of a full setup from octominer. I am excited but see I have to wait till mid march for the next batch of motherboards before delivery. I also didn't realize there are additional shipping fees that I will have to pay the dhl guy upon delivery either.

You can peel the blue protective film coating off the cooler to reveal the metal underneath. The blue film is there for protection during handling and shipping.  Smiley

Are these 24 pin dummy plugs only needed for ATX style PSUs I assume?  We'll  be using a server PSU so I'm fairly sure that we won't need the dummy plugs...?  I figured I'd ask to be sure while I'm waiting for other parts to arrive. Smiley

We did  not have to pay anything extra upon delivery here in the USA. I believe it all depends on the laws of your country in regards to imports, customs, duty fees etc...

Yes, some of the motherboards from the 3855u batch came with upgraded CPU's , we decided to sell them for the same price for this batch.  Smiley

Try to ask about another carrier like EMS or regular post. They also provide tracking number. Delivery time could be longer, but you definitely will receive your order.

I Ordered 5 Onda D1800 motherboards recently from Letine/Alibaba and got them shipped via DHL using the same address, so I'm wondering why they can't ship?
Anyway will try to ask for another shipment method.

Hi!

We understand your frustration and we are sorry for not being able to ship to your country at the moment.
As we stated the reason for not being able to ship out was because there are more regulations and paperwork to fill out to ship to your country and we did not meet the shipping deadline because of the Chinese New Year Holiday that just started in China. If it were not for the Holidays then we could have shipped out your order. Again, we are truly sorry for the inconvenience we caused you. After the Holidays end at the end of February we can still ship out your order if you are interested.

Thanks for your replay, guess I have no other choice, I will wait then.
I will send you an email to confirm, thank you.

The CPU fan spins at 100% making a high pitched sound louder than all my GPUs so is there a way to reduce it?

Well I know where my next riserless motherboards will be coming from! Based on what I've seen in this thread: responsive to questions + pushing to get shipments away before a major national holiday + shipping upgraded cpus because they are in stock rather than delaying the orders = great stuff!

I have been very satisfied with my new board and case though I would note 2 issues that I have come across:

1. I needed to remove one exhaust fan in order to connect the video out on my first gpu, and

2. I cannot find the pin layout for the front panel of the case.

That being said, the price to value of this kit is very nice.

It's a bit packed but works perfectly fine with the case and the fans cooling. 8x 1060 will run around 55c in a 25-35C ambient environment.

octominer do you have the pin layout somewhere for the case you can upload?

The pin layout is printed on the motherboard, it's a bit tricky to spot it at first.
I added a photo of it.

Planning to put 8x1080ti in mine. These are blower cards, so hoping they'll be ok? with 7 delta fans in the chassis, they should be...?
