Is Telegram the new measure of ICO success?

Most of the projects are garbage and do not have an important goal but they have been very successful. hey can collect a fantastically huge amount and have a large number of investors, but I still do not understand why they want to do this. What is the real purpose of this ICO?

telegram became the second successful reference after twitter, actually reddit more significant but not all countries allow access to reddit, all media can be manipulated with the number of followers acquired by each promotion, but the most important is the delivery of information from the developer / CEO to the community and potential investors become more targeted.

I would not say that telegram is an indicator of ICO success cause the group members can be easily increased by different airdrops and telegram campaigns even if the project does not worth it. The main indicator of a quality project is the concept and ability of its implementation!

I don't know why people only base the success of ICO on hype, there are many things to considered, if interms of raising moeny this could help, but this is of no use when people are been talking for granted, Fantom ICO is one of the ICO I think just take investors for granted by causing gas war and people wasting money on nothing.

Telegram is a way of communication. It is a social media platform if you run it on your phone, you can share with your friends among others, your opinion about cryptocurrencies and ICOs. It is the other way of promotion as twitter and facebook. It is definitely not an indication of success but it can help spreading new ideas to many people.

If you see a large number of members in a group in a new project, then for sure it is manipulation. This is just a marketing strategy, which is used by some projects. I do not think that a large number of members will bring great success. Any project needs an intelligent investor, not a large number of bots.
