An active telegram group with a large number of members shows how good the project with their marketing strategy, up shows how active the project community is.
The other factors that you need to consider is the activeness of the developer, and the total supply of the coins,and the case of the roadmap of the project. |

I think it is a measure of success. Of course, it is a helpful platform for communication. It is more convenient, because usually you get quick response and can communicate with other investors or read some helpful info. But if telegram group is dead, it is suspicious and can be scam. You just need to check whether there are a lot of members because it is required for bounty or Airdrop and that’s why group is big. In this case it wouldn’t be an indicator, but if there are about 20k members without all these required stuff it is a measure of success.

Yes , this is big truth that in now days to have a ICO to be successful they should have big amount of crowds and specially at the telegram because many people ( mostly big rich people ) are having al better services at the telegram and that are making them to.come at the telegram , and here it is a big factor that out of every 10 person there will be a one person or that group that will invest in ICO . So here clearly big crowd at the telegram will give you big Result of the the success in the ICO , otherwise another platforms are better but having a telegram offical group is a better thing for the ICO to communicate with users with more transparency . |

Maybe yes because it is only most comfortable to communicate the investor and the trader compare to the other platform. And having a success in telegram mirrored the success in the bounty because there is lot of people negotiating and giving time on it and because of that we can consider the success of the campaign. We must have faith and trust in the campaign and we've join because without this thing we cannot tell that it will become successful if the members of it have no trust in the manager. |

I think TG is no any different to other socials, it's just a new one. The success of ICO depends on how hard the team worked on it, on how honest they are and on how good they promote it. The idea, the WP, the Roadmap is what defines the quality of the project and separates the promising one (like Aworker, NEO, EOS maybe, Bitupper and others) from the scam

Most of the projects are garbage and do not have an important goal but they have been very successful. hey can collect a fantastically huge amount and have a large number of investors, but I still do not understand why they want to do this. What is the real purpose of this ICO?

Telegram has nothing to do about the success of a particular project, the success depends on the effort of the dev team on the project, how it was marketed and also the product of the project.
From my view telegram is also a social media.

yes, i think. why? because the members are the real person as another social media already full of "fake person", like twitter and instagram that the followers can be bought but telegram not. i think all of them in telegram are real person.  Indeed, 99% of the Telegram users are real people so the more members on every ICO or coin telegram channel the more successful it can be. There's no fake and bogus accounts especially when everyone are interested and participating the discussion. I don't think 99% of the people are real, many of the members from China are not real, and the new communities will soon reach 10,000 or more. There are obviously a lot of fake accounts |

I don't believe the telegram can play a major role in a crypto developing. It's just a social media resource. If there's wouldn't be telegram something for sure would be instead.

I agree with this one, they should also be transparent and can easily answer all questions about their project, and the telegram group is where you can get the answer to questions people should have the liberty to interact in their telegram channel and also dev should be very active in their channel. |

Number of subscriber don't have any relation with success of project, if team will do good work then with small amount of telegram users..project will get success.

I think it could be a new indicator. But not quite. I found that there were a lot of fake accounts for telegrams from China, so there was no reference value in terms of the number of people added to the cables.
