Current block 501, now that i have the miner running. Grabbed the source the moment it was posted on github. 500 block premine. not 150.

Incorrect, my pool was up around block ~280. The client was release before the source. You got in something like 15 mins late. relax. Also, the pool is functioning properly and submitting blocks. Expect a 6%-9% Reject Rate as the coin is new and difficulty is low. Blocks are flying. I have restarted stratum into debug mode to keep an eye on it, but it s running fantastically. Cheers! |

Yea I concur, I came on and there were only 83 blocks to synch so not even a 150 blocks of premine that I saw. Unfortunately with the 4x diff jumps, I'm done mining this one for now!  |

Yes but you a mining right now, like nobody else because you have not released source yet. So i would say premine is counted until the block at which the source is released. Fuck this 150 block bullshit, you are still pre mining at this very moment until we see source.
I downloaded the win-qt, dropped in vm and started mining at block 27. Threw 1.8 mh rig at it, mined 113 of the first 400, 87 accepts, 26 rejects. CaptChadd did not pre-mine 150 blocks. I think I might have included testnet blocks in that figure. Not sure. But I am being honest with what my QT client was saying to me. |

With the pool I am getting a Pool 0 Stratum Auth failed type error.

That looks like it might be a login or worker/address naming problem. Maybe try making a new worker? cgminer? |

This coin would have made more sense if it was POS too. As it is once the 4 mill is mined it is going to be 51%'d with ease.

You are right there and that is something to think about over the next few weeks. 5 Million in 5 months, 5% every 5 weeks. Call it the fives alive coin! Well if it happens, it better be fair release, src, bin, pre ann, etc. Bounties are not necessary if the coin is released fairly, people will help out if they don't feel like they will be dumped on and the priced crushed. |
