Someone may be storing some information on the blockchain in scriptPubKey field. That's possible, p2pool does this as well. |

we upgraded our pools to stratum:
you can now connect to stratum+tcp://stratum.coinex.pw:9018
We will update the pools stats soon with this port.
now getwork and stratum is enabled, but we soon will shut down getwork. so please change your adress.

old getwork pools do not share rewards with new stratum pools. this means all blocks rewards found by stratum miners are not shared amongst getwork miners and vice versa.
we are shutting down getwork soon, as it confuses the users. so until this, reward looks strange and hashrates and poolhashrates too. when we close getwork all is showing up fine.

I am still wondering why Cryptsy have not even mentioned considering Extremecoin, let alone add it. Seems really strange to me, they are losing out on trading fees with the build up to the reward drop and after.

Maybe they are waiting for the reward drop to see what happens. And it's true what are you saying. They are missing on those fees. Around 2 days now. Can't wait to see what will happen  |

At the moment some service providers are asking why EXC is not on Cryptsy and I cannot tell them a reason.
Does anyone know why it is not on Cryptsy?
I have contacted them a few times but got nothing back.
We need trading volume.

They're specifically asking about Cryptsy? Why is Cryptsy so important? It's already on CoinEx, the volume is probably low because nobody wants to trade anything until the drop, expecting the value to rise significantly. |

They're specifically asking about Cryptsy? Why is Cryptsy so important? It's already on CoinEx, the volume is probably low because nobody wants to trade anything until the drop, expecting the value to rise significantly. maybe it's psychological. In my opinion most people think it's worth it if it hits cryptsy. But i don't think that it matters. As you said it's already traded on coinex and it's enough. Anyway if those services start to come online cryptsy would add exc. |

Hey captain,
I like your invention.
But every time I see it I think of DOOM, remember DoomII and Final Doom, the games?
Based on this, my thoughts that is , you should change the name of the coin from EXC and extremecoin to simply
Doom.
If you do this I also recommend copying the font, and greviously making yourself liable for some sort of legitimate or otherwise legal copyright breach.

For the symbols, actually I think someone should make this. It would be fun.
