So CaptChadd, any more details about the new difficulty adjustment? Were still seeing a very bad pattern in block times, sometimes it can be hours with no blocks and then it seems there will be a whole bunch of blocks within a minute.
Look at the block chain for the last 15 blocks no blocks for hours, as long as 11 hours, then difficulty drops a little, a block in 2 hours, a block 1 hour as difficulty drops more, then 10 blocks in a minute as difficulty nears zero, then back up to a few minutes, and now stuck again for a couple hours.
Having send confirm times take so long makes it very difficult to send transactions, who wants to wait 11 hours or even 1 hour for a single confirmation? It also makes developing and testing services very difficult.

Yeah still working on it.
Have been ill for a few days but am back and fighting fit again.
EXC is going to be my sole focus again to get this difficulty problem fixed.

Why fix the difficulty? It is fine. Give it another few months to settle out and then when the block reward is constant and small, the coin will stabalize. Let it run its course. Then this coin can be used for any kind of programmatic testing to anyone's heart's content. I personally don't mind waiting for transactions to go through now.
%% Edit.
So that was my first thought, but then I realized say later down the road, someone may just for spite dump a lot of hashpower at this just to lock the chain up.

That's what we need to safe guard against. Also I would like to see EXC trade paired with either LTC or USD. With BTC going through the roof it is not a good comparison of any altcoins worth when put against Bitcoin.

I have started up a dedicated cloud server which is acting as a seed node right now and will replace the other two vps nodes.
This new server will also being hosting a EXC service which is in development.

"Busy" as in someone raised the price about 1000% with fat walls on BTER and CoinsEx at the same time. Disappointed with this event and and subsequently with the coin. Can the Dev give an insight into what is going on?

What's your complaint? That is the free market at work. Sell your coins and the price will go down. Someone apparently wants to buy a lot of coins... if no one wants to sell the price goes up. How can you be disappointed in the coin because its value has gone up? My guess is you're feeling sour grapes, because you didn't buy them when they were cheap Having bought a bunch when it had 5 zeros, I've been very happy about the price increase, though I think it is not yet high enough so im still not selling (well maybe just a few).

It will be very interesting to see how the market reacts to a rare coin that (to all intents and purposes) has 'finished' mining and does not (yet?) have a long list of services and exchanges to buy, sell and trade on...
Does rarity alone equate to value - that is the question...
I will be watching EXC closely

Right now EXC is certainly more of a commodity than a currency.
Maybe that will change once more services come online. We still need to get the difficulty adjustment fixed for it to be useful as a currency, because transactions can still take several hours.

When the masses start doing research on coins rather than blindly jumping on a random coin because of the color of the wallet UI I believe the returns will be exponential. Oh look EXC just added a zero to its value in a day.

The quiet coins are always the the ones that last the longest.
You notice how so much hashing power was thrown at EXC when the reward was 200 but hardly anyone spoke about it and it never got added onto Cryptsy.
As mass horde of these coins, being rare, the guys with a nice amount of coins have the power.
The transaction fee's on some found blocks are almost as much as the 1 reward meaning there is a lot of transaction traffic happening on the EXC network, this is a great sign.
This coin has been easy to mine at 200 a block for months, for for all the people moaning now it has dropped to 1 and they didn't mine before, that is just tough luck.
Do you really think that all the big miners, with fat EXC wallets are going to let the price drop just so you can get some cheap? :-)
