I never used ASIC for mining and want try one, but I dont want throw money for useless hardware.

The first batch was of course profitable, the one on their website for $980 seems pretty reasonable atm but you never know how high the difficulty will spike when all the new A3s ship. Right now with my A3, im making around $30~ per day half way on my ROI already after a month |

Hello guys, i'm thinking about buy 3 antminer A3. Problems are: they will be ship around the end of march (i mean, if they don't scam me...) and the difficult will be higher for that time.
If you were in me, will you do it? If not, why?
I still haven't bought anything, but planning to do it.

I received these coupons this morning... Did u buy any of the $980 batch A3s? Something isn't right. I also had a coupon and I tried to buy an A3 with the coupon. But Bitmain does not allow using the coupon. Only valid for S9 and L3. This is the answer of Bitmain: The terms of use are: - One coupon per Antminer purchase (only for S9 and L3+)
- Coupons may not be exchanged or redeemed for cash
- You may transfer your coupon to another Bitmain customer if you wish.

Then 3 days ago I used 3 of these coupons on 3 A3 miners since they were available in my cart during checkout. Now I have 22 $100 coupons expire June 1st. |

You can use ONE coupon PER miner (not sure if it counts for an A3 or not) So... you can get $200 bucks off 15 more L3+'s say and 5 more L3+'s at 100 bucks... I myself have TWO $120 buck coupons from my 'dubious' TWO Bitmain D3 x11 miners.....I am planning on sitting on them (maybe forever) unless bitmain releases some miners of 'any flavor' that makes more sense to get then HODL'ing crypto. Damn hard, to get a Bitmain Miner of any flavor, looking at a 12-14 month ROI...if as you do such...say Nov/Dec 2017....Bitmain simply does not SHIP any units and mines themselves....allowing all miners to pile up for march/april... like when LTC went from 4.15 to 50 bucks and I could not get my miners last summer (L3+'s) for 6 weeks due to firmware upgrades (firmware arrived with Jan firmware dates) AND THIS IS ON TOPIC for A3 in that with siacoin miners they have.....I expect the next rush of 'toaster city' to do the same as the D3....dubious (if not 1st batch) or ever getting ROI... So the coupons are clearly being dulled out for the Qty of miners purchased in the last 12 months. With them expiring June 1 2018. I would expect Bitmain to announce more efficient equipment shortly after.

Seems Bitmain is just willing to get rid of it's miners on stock. I got a few $200 coupons, but last miners which i purchased were in September.
