I don't know when bitcoin prices are down many threads in this forum they will say 'bitcoin will die' or 'bitcoin end' and others. And when the price goes up this many threads will be said about 'bitcoin go to 20k 50k 100k I don't understand with that. You have got the right point there. It was all a game played by the big whales. They had manipulated Bitcoin's price and spreaded a FUD in the market.
Many beginners and weak hands sold their Bitcoins in  panic at lower rates and now we can see that the price has rebounded.
The big whales manipulated the price so that they can buy BTC at lower rates. The price has increased $2000 now and it is proven to be a well planned strategy as BTC is slowly gaining its momentum.
