Ripple has a much better chance to go to Zero than 10,000 at anytime in the future. LOL It's not even a crypto currency and should not be listed as such. It's centralized and you never hold your value. Someone else does... good luck.
Strongly agree with this point as it is completely centralized and being monitored all the time. As soon as the currency reaches a higher price the owner of the currency releases many more coins in the market. It's market cap is so much that it is near to impossible for XRP to reach $10000 within 2 years. It took Bitcoin 9 whole years to reach the $10,000 being a decentralized currency with limited supply. XRP on the other hand is centralized and has a whole lot more supply. It can't reach $10,000 until next 5 years for sure. And it has to be this way for what they purport to do. Now I'm not sure they're going to actually get any banks to use XRP, even if they get them to use Ripple protocol, but let's assume they do. Then they have to hold the price of XRP steady for it to serve its purpose. What bank can transact in a currency that fluctuates in value by 20% in a given day? That's why some of these coins hold such a huge coin supply in their own stash. Any coin used for banking transactions has got to be stable. So apart from the thoroughly anti-crypto idea behind XRP, and the lawsuits pending against the company, it's just not a good long-term hold for price appreciation. This one is going to trade between $1-4 indefinitely. And will still be over-valued most of the time even at the top of that range! |

It appears that most people didn't read my post, or didn't understand it. Here's the math again, for all you hoping it to reach $10,000.
38,739,142,811 * 10000 = 387391428110000
In case you can't read that number, which I doubt you can:
387 Trillion 391 Billion 428 Million 110 Thousand
Taken by Ripple alone? That's 5 times the market cap of stocks. Also, that's calculated at the currrent supply, their total supply is 2.6 times higher.
That is the market cap needed. Here's what Market Cap is:
Market capitalization is just a fancy name for a straightforward concept: it is the market value of a company's outstanding shares. This figure is found by taking the stock price and multiplying it by the total number of shares outstanding
This is all the answers needed in this thread. It amazes me that people dont do the simplest research or calculation before investing . Most of them just see the value of coin- if it is below 1$ it is good to go , since it is so cheap. |

That could be a probability if Ripple performs great this year. At that point Ripple can proceed with that for the following 2 years. Hey guys, so the last ripple thread got closed down and since there aren't any new ones I decided to make one on my own.
I got around 126 ripple at the moment and I'm just wondering if they will turn me into a millionaire in the next two years.
I personally believe that they will and that anyone reading this should invest into ripple.

After all, you cannot beat the banks.
They will buy all the ripple and they will pay whatever amount is needed just to get the technology for themselves.
This means that getting in now, at a dollar, is a bargain as the more banks get interested in ripple and buying it, the more the demand for it will grow and the prices will shoot up crazy!
We watched it go from 0.19 to almost 5$ in the span of just a few weeks, I don't see why bigger growth isn't possible and don't tell me about the market cap- people were bickering about it on a dollar and ripple dumpstered it without any issues.
Please discuss and remain civil while doing it.
There is absolutely zero chance if Ripple hitting $10,000 USD a coin, they have 100 billion coins. So there is 4,761x more ripple than BTC multiply that by ripples current price ($1.5 USD) ripple is worth approx $7,000 USD if there were only 21 million, and when it was $3 $14,000 USD. So if you multiply Bitcoin by 4761x12,000 = roughly 57 million/coin. |

I like your enthusiasm , 10,000 for ripple maybe when fiat loses all its value. That's kinda unrealistic or is it a joke for ripple holders. lol that's like waiting for nothing. maybe ripple 5$ , I can't see any reason why ripple would pump to 10$ and above.

IF Ripple reaches $10,000 wouldn't its market cap be worth more than all the money in the world? Not sure though, but what I know is Ripple will be difficult to pump due to its market cap.

Do you understand the concept of market capitalization? because if you do then you will realize that it's impossible for ripple to reach that kind of price. I suggest try reading about market capitalization if you want to go futher in crypto. Cheap doesn't always mean there's a lot of room to grow. It amazes me that a lot of people in this thread that think it's possible, certaninly there's a lot of stupid people in this space.

I think it could happen, because as we know ethereum in just a few months can increase by 150-200%. so the possibility of a ripple could have risen to $ 10,000 by 2020.
