It would be lucky to reach $10, let alone $10,000. I just don't see it happening.
Totally agree with you.
With a price of $10, Ripple might become No. 1 in terms of market cap.
In my opinion, Ripple is one of the most overvalued coins now.

At this rate there is a very good chance Ripple is going to reach 10,000 usd by 2020.

That is, if we're talking about the total market cap of Ripple in 2020.  Tongue

Seriously a lot of bad news for all coins when all leaders of all countries in the world are starting to regulate crypto out of existence, but I've heard an especially bad rumor about Ripple that banks don't want to use it after all.

It is completely impossible for Ripple to reach $10,000 in any situation.
look at it's supply, a guy earlier on did the simple maths, $10k = over $300 trillion market cap, this is just completely impossible.

Quote
10 July 2017
Global private wealth hit $166 trillion last year, up 5.6% on the year previous. Yet as the rich get richer, reaping the benefits of globalisation opportunities and recovering economies, the rate of growth will accelerate in the coming years, taking total private wealth in the hands of the affluent to over $220 trillion by 2021.

220 trillion by 2021 as total global wealth yet Ripple will hit over 300 trillion? honestly it'll rain gold before this happens.
And the simple fact that at $10 it would surpass Bitcoin as the #1 marketcap (this is NEVER going to happen) also proves how much people are dreaming.

Ripple won't ever pass $5 unless Bitcoin starts going through the roof again, in that case your sat value hasn't really increased too much so what's the gain?
Out of all the options if you are caught up in Ripple as the main go to, you're looking at crypto in the completely wrong way.

I would rather explain and save noobs from losing money than push bs in hope a noob might bump my coin up 0.00000001 in price.. these people pushing complete nonsense like ripple hitting $10,000 are just pests to the community.

Hey guys, so the last ripple thread got closed down and since there aren't any new ones I decided to make one on my own.

I got around 126 ripple at the moment and I'm just wondering if they will turn me into a millionaire in the next two years.

I personally believe that they will and that anyone reading this should invest into ripple.

*NOT AN EXPERT, RESEARCH YOURSELF BEFORE BUYING ANYTHING*

After all, you cannot beat the banks.
They will buy all the ripple and they will pay whatever amount is needed just to get the technology for themselves.
This means that getting in now, at a dollar, is a bargain as the more banks get interested in ripple and buying it, the more the demand for it will grow and the prices will shoot up crazy!

We watched it go from 0.19 to almost 5$ in the span of just a few weeks, I don't see why bigger growth isn't possible and don't tell me about the market cap- people were bickering about it on a dollar and ripple dumpstered it without any issues.

Please discuss and remain civil while doing it.

2020 is still long far 2 years from now. We can not even predict what will be happen tomorrow.
Anyway, why do you talk about ripple hit that much price? Its very nonsense to reach this amount although in 20 years later.
As we know, ripple has high dozen of supply so it can not hit that much and it will need very very high marketcap to reach that price.

Threads like this make me worry about the market being in a massive bubble… people are just throwing in money & hoping for random numbers with no basis in reality whatsoever. Ripple at $10,000 would be several times more than the entire world's money supply.

I feel like Ripple is compromising true crypto currencies to appeal to the banks. It might be a good short term hold, but in the long term I don't see much potential. When actual decentralized currencies catch on.

Dream big wannabe trader, one day ripple will reach 10,000usd and you will be rich af and buying a lot of lambo. Seriously, do you know that Ripple has an unlimited supply? They can increase the supply at will, like printing money, so it's impossible to reach $ 10,000 due to inflation. I think you should invest in smaller marketcap altcoin with limited supply since you will have more chance to hit 10,000usd.

I cant say it for sure because at the moment ripple is less than $2, and reach $10000 in two years is not as easy as it look.
but this is the crypto world unexpected things can happen.

Look at the supply! still, the company is holding many coins under escrow. I think it cannot reach to 10k$ really that is too much with this high supply. I think it is not possible because all with this supply we cannot easily predict with this fluctutation.

Indeed, if it's already a lot of enthusiasts, surely the price will be explode, but.. in my mind, honestly I'm still less can be sure that over time will be more and more banks are interested on the ripple and must to buying it.
Anyhow, on the development of cryptos, it will be easily influenced by some other things/news that can affect among many people that's unexpected at a certain time.

I'm really not sure it will go to $10k.

Read what every one else is saying, $100 puts it at nearly 4 trillion dollars market cap, Microsoft the company which most of us are using for our computing right now has a 600 billion dollar cap, you think ripple will go 6-7x the value of Microsoft? and over 20x bitcoins cap? please wake up a little

I cant say it for sure because at the moment ripple is less than $2, and reach $10000 in two years is not as easy as it look.
but this is the crypto world unexpected things can happen.

In no world is this going to happen, it is just flat out impossible... unexpected things happen within reason, a coin with a 1-10 million cap making it to a 1+ billion cap has happened, but to say ripple could hit a 300 trillion+ cap is just insane and flat out impossible, that's more money than the world has as a whole.

I'm done stating the obvious for now, if people can't work it out then so be it

Personally I think this will never happen. $10,000 for each ripple is really impossible for me.
I know that ripple is really good for transaction considering it's speed, but there are many aspects you should see. For example the total supply of ripple which is really huge. Ripple is good because of it's fast transaction, but right now there are many altcoins that have a fast to almost-instant transaction speed like XRB. And not to mention the centralize-decentralize thing. People loves decentralized thing and XRP looks like a centralize coin because it is a best friend of banks.

not unless the banks are willing half of their profit to the users of this community that would invest with them.then this things will happen.but if not get lost,go to mama..who do you thing will buy this one?when all of us here know that ripple is a coin of bankers?come on man.move on dont let your life go round with that coin, ripple is good for daytrading but will never be for investment.

Very well said.
XRP is against what cryptocurrency is about.
As you said, it is centralized, which is the reason it is preferred by banks.
I believe it is overvalued already, but it doesn't mean it won't be pumped again.

Well that figure is too big for ripple, i will say it is a fanatic view, if you would have called it for Eth or Dash would have sounded ok but for ripple it is out of the equation, i think $25-$35 would be better range for ripple in next couple of years.

Usually I am very ambitious about the value that can alcnazar a project Crytopgrafico, but for the case of XRP I see it very difficult, emepzando by the lack of decentralization and continunado by the problem of its number supply

Probably it will reach 10 000 satoshi in 2020..

You see there is a paradox. 10 000 satoshi might as well be worth 10 000$ in 2020.

This is impossible. Just look at the circulating and maximum supply of XRP reaching $100 might be even impossoble for this coin.

I doubt 10,000 will ever happen in our life time, but 3-5 is more realistic by 2020
With the total supply as the ripple is, the achievement of $ 10,000 is unreasonable because then the property of the ripple is too large. I think the ripple will reach $ 100 which is reasonable with the value and acceptance of the ripple community. The value of a coin depends on the investment community so I think the $ 10,000 figure is hard to accept.
