I doubt 10,000 will ever happen in our life time, but 3-5 is more realistic by 2020
With the total supply as the ripple is, the achievement of $ 10,000 is unreasonable because then the property of the ripple is too large. I think the ripple will reach $ 100 which is reasonable with the value and acceptance of the ripple community. The value of a coin depends on the investment community so I think the $ 10,000 figure is hard to accept. Not only hard to accept, it is just plain impossible... The 100-150 is a reasonable price if XRP goes mainstream. Other than that, i can't see it much higher than 30-40 by 2020... |

Hey guys, so the last ripple thread got closed down and since there aren't any new ones I decided to make one on my own.
I got around 126 ripple at the moment and I'm just wondering if they will turn me into a millionaire in the next two years.
I personally believe that they will and that anyone reading this should invest into ripple.
*NOT AN EXPERT, RESEARCH YOURSELF BEFORE BUYING ANYTHING*
After all, you cannot beat the banks.
They will buy all the ripple and they will pay whatever amount is needed just to get the technology for themselves.
This means that getting in now, at a dollar, is a bargain as the more banks get interested in ripple and buying it, the more the demand for it will grow and the prices will shoot up crazy!
We watched it go from 0.19 to almost 5$ in the span of just a few weeks, I don't see why bigger growth isn't possible and don't tell me about the market cap- people were bickering about it on a dollar and ripple dumpstered it without any issues.
Please discuss and remain civil while doing it.
The maximum and current supply of ripple will make it very hard to reach the 10000/XRP. Growth is not possible if the supply is overflowing. Think of the supply and demand if there is low supply in the market then price go up. See, ripple is a billion coins supply in the market and I should be very happy if it reach $5. |

As i mentioned few posts back, every day there are 3-5 trilion $ in cross-boarder bank transactions. That is what XRP was created for in the first place. If they will do a good job, they should have at least 1/4 of those transactions covered by XRP by the end of 2020. That will require market cap of at least 750 billion, if tehy will reach maximum supply which is 100 billion that would equal to at least 7,5 bucks, but with lower fees, there will be more cross boarder transactions, so they would need market cap of at least 1,5 trillion, which is 15$ per coin if EVERY coin would be locked in the transactions. Which will not. So the price should be AT LEAST 20-25$ by the 2020 if they wil lcontinue to do a good work. |

In my opinion we can expect to have XRP in the range 1-5$ for several months. So far its price is all about expectancies, no real, important and big solution up to now, so depending on following months if we see a real advance the price might get back to January's price, otherwise it could go into a dangerous position below 1$.

maybe when humanity will reach level III on the Kardashev scale and xrp will be used for interplanetary transfer,
but i think that it will came a bit later then 2020

The totall WORLD SUPPLY of money is 1-1.5 quadrillion. If XRP eve reaches 10 000$ it would have market cap of 1 000 000 000 000 000, which is 1 quadrillion... Can you see where I am going with it? YOu can level up however you want, it will never reach 10 000$ |

It will not even reach 20$ by 2020. People who bought it initially are the only ones who'll benefit from ripple.

Might reach $100, if the same growth continues to take place with ripple. Even with the recent price increase and decrease it is mentioned to be a manipulated growth by the financial institutions that has adopted ripple for some sort of necessity into their business plan.

10,000 is not possible. If you look at the supply it will have a marketcap of over 380 000 000 000 000$ and this is more then 7x higher the total marketcap right now. And with the total supply over 1000 000 000 000 000$, and since ripple them self own(60%) a lot of the tokens.

I think ripple will always be a low cost token, as if it grows to more than $100 it will be unconvenient to use it as payment...
Before telling about the price we also have to think about the purpose of the token

well, I do not believe in ripple so much. But if it do rise, ripple holders will be millionaires. I just found one thread where someone was thinking of investing into eth when it was below 300 USD. With 1100 now ))

The $1000 price is really high but I believe the ripple will be achieved because people tend to keep a lot of ripples and future ripple technology will probably be applied to banks around the world and if this will happen, the $ 1000 price is only a matter of time |

how can XRP increase 10.000x in 2 years? I do not think so. although XRP is really a good coin which is used in many banks in the world, I do not think that it can reach that target in short time.

Its just x3.65. How about people that were buying @10USD one year ago? And what about 1 USD two years ago?  Me personally entered into XRP @0.2 USD, but since 3.05 and down to 1.25 i was selling some to invest in other interesting coins. I dont believe that XRP will reach 5 USD, not in 2018, or not earlier than partnership with some major companies would be announced (e.g. MoneyGram is not such company). Left few k XRP for a long term. If it recover back to 3 USD it would be perfect. |

I am convinced that full Ripple capitalization will be equal to 10,000$ after devs will sell their percentages(61%).
Are you aware that ripple has a 100 Billion coin as a max supply ? Are you aware that you'll need trillions of dollars in order to achieve the 10k per coin ? Are you aware that the figure needed to reach that is longer than you can read ? And that it's more than the budget of a whole continent ? Are you aware that all the world population need to invest in it and make out of it the one and only universal currency to make that happen ?? Ripple is just a way for banks to get the much rarer supply of bitcoin and profit out of it when it hits the moon .. Even pumping it is so expansive that you need huge ressources to make a 1$ increase per coin .. This is more than a fantasy , it's almost nonsense .. |

well, First of all ripple is a very good and promising coin. It's current price is $0.60+ But if we flash back in the last 2 month then we can see ripple price was $3+
But now crypto market is totally decreasing and ripple price is also down. So i think if ripple going to reach 10.000$ in 2020 then it won't be surprising at all. But i can say in 2020 ripple will be in a very good position.

Mate it's okay to dream but with the supply ripple has it is almost impossible to go to 10000 dollars .A safe bet would be 1100 dollars provided many banks adopt it and start using xRapid |
